IT IS HERE! Avalon Faire’s 10th Anniversary Season, opening April 12-27, 2025, starring all of the glories of the medieval age and the legends of King Arthur of Camelot. Jousting, swordplay, musicians, dancing, magic, puppets and general tom-foolery fill the festival at every turn. Join us for family-friendly entertainment and games. Visit with King Arthur and his Knights, Queen Elaine and her coterie, and Morgan la Fey with her denizens of the faery world. Will mischief and magic finally prevail? Find out at the daily show featuring the Cast of Avalon and the Knights of Noble Cause.

Let's Talk Garb: The Middle Ages!

Did you know that Avalon is a Medieval faire!? The time period is set loosely between the 12th and 13th centuries, and when you pass through the gates of Avalon you'll be transported to the time of King Arthur, Lady Guinevere and the Knights of the Round Table! There are many sources of information about King Arthur and his company throughout history, but it's hard to pin point exactly when he existed, if he existed at all! That means that there is a very wide margin for middle age fashion here at Avalon. Below are some photos of some of our cast members and faire-goers in their medieval garb! Perhaps you'd like to be a knight? Or a princess? A farmer? A peasant? How about a squire, or a wizard like Merlin? Join us in the fun!

One of the ways that you can participate at Avalon Faire is by dressing up! Although NOT required, many of our guests arrive in costume, and we feel the experience of the faire is heightened and more fun when you come dressed to play. What do you wear? The possibilities are endless! Knights! Pirates! Vikings! Fairies! Mushrooms! Wizards! And, of course, your classic Medieval peasants and MORE! Whatever you choose to wear, make sure you're having FUN!

The Avalon Cast
Introducing the Cast of Avalon. The Lady Elaine of Glamorganshire, sister of the beloved King Arthur , welcomes all to the annual celebration of her brother's coronation. But beware! Queen Guinevere must be protected from the evil designs of Morgan la Fey, who seeks to ransom the queen for Arthur's crown.

The Court will hold a Commissioning Ceremony each day of the Faire, awarding titles of honor to those who wish to be recognized. Is it your birthday? Alert a Cast member and walk the Parade as our invited guest. Meet us in the lanes to chat or mayhaps share a meal. And don't be too surprised if a scuffle ensues over who spilled who's ale! All of this and more is presented in the lanes and on the stages of Avalon Faire by this talented troupe, the Cast of Avalon

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news from our friends Judas and Magnolia:

For those who may not know, Magnolia has been a dedicated member of the RESCU Foundation for several years. The RESCU Foundation is a national nonprofit that has been serving the health and medical needs of individuals connected to the Renaissance Festival community for over 20 years. Magnolia has been volunteering an incredible 30–40 hours a week in her role as a member of the Board of Directors, offering her time and energy selflessly to help others.

Magnolia is being elected President of the Board of Directors! Her passion for this organization is inspiring, and her unwavering dedication will undoubtedly lead to an incredible future for RESCU.
