Experience our first annual Highland piper competition, in honor of our good friend, Lary "Leghorn" Fowler.

A EUSPBA scantioned event for solo pipers. The competition will run during the last Saturday of Avalon Faire.

Registrants enter the faire for free, with paid registration. Each registrant will receive an additional complimentary pass to Avalon Faire, good for Saturday, April 26 (the day of the competition).

Let's talk Garb! ✨WEATHER✨

Visiting Avalon on a sunny day is the obvious choice, but there's something special about visiting when it's a cold or rainy day. The fun doesn't end simply because water falls from the sky! It's the time to show off the garb you never get to wear because it's too hot out! Many a memorable moment are had on the rainiest of days. While some things on the schedule may be delayed or changed, there's still much to do! Take shelter with our vendors and talk to them about their craft! Have a drink and warm your belly over at The Black Flagon while our minstrels serenade you! Eat your weight in meat and tasty morsels while making new friends! You can do all of this and more when you're warmly dressed and have the proper footwear to keep your feet dry! So come to Avalon and show us your garb!

Just a little more than two weeks before we throw wide the gates and let the merriment begin! We have been working hard for 2025. We have many vendors with their wares for you. Sir Lilith and Sir Lucian with Noble Cause, Knightwings, Dragon Kin and their games of skill along with the archery contest and ax throwing.

Captain Thom Bedlam is landlocked, bored, and bursting with thomfoolery. It's an array of magical mayhem, the sharing of vastly inaccurate knowledge, and gregarious (if ineffective lessons) on piracy. Of all the lying, cheating, unscrupulous scoundrels you'll ever meet, you'll like him the best. He is not so much memorable as he is hilariously traumatizing!
