As we continue to work hard towards our grand opening for our new local goods store, I’m stopping to take the time to showcase another Texas product we are excited to feature. Das Gud Spice Company is located in Kemah, Texas. We are so blessed to add them to our shelves! Come out next Friday and Saturday afternoons for our grand opening weekend. Specific hours and ribbon cutting time coming soon. And here is another sneak peek at the new store!

Did you know that Let’s Eat Texas has gotten a 100% every year on our food inspection? Did you know that inspector‘s reports are made public? And did you know that rarely does a restaurant get 100%? They are looking for everything from proper temperature holding, to cleanliness and all the factors in between that you can imagine.
Restaurants get shut down for having too low a score or too serious of a violation. I made this post both to celebrate and congratulate my staff on the exemplary job we do every day to make sure our customers have safe food made in a clean environment. I also post this to make you aware that you might want to be checking the scores on the restaurants you’re eating at. You’d be surprised to find how many need to work on their safety and cleanliness.
For those of you that choose Let’s Eat Texas we thank you. And hopefully knowing that our kitchen is so clean and our food is held properly helps put your mind at ease. For those of you that don’t choose us enough, we invite you!

Let’s Eat Texas Local Goods is fast approaching its grand opening weekend. As long as all goes well with final steps our ribbon cutting will be in Friday, January 31. We will then be open on Saturday February 1 as well! Today I want to give a shout out to another featured Texas company whose products we are excited to offer in the store. The countdown is on to the grand opening of the next phase of Let’s Eat Texas. Our Local Goods will showcase Texas made or grown products. Today’s shout out goes to one of the Texas producers we will be featuring. Brushfire Farms is out of San Antonio and their jams are FIRE. Check them out at their website www.brishfirefarms.com.

Our Feb brunch and supper club is fast approaching!
Our brunch….. we will host a new theme brunch once each month. This will be held on a Saturday from 10am-1pm. Some menu items will change each month. Reservations are preferred but walk ins welcome. Be sure to check out our event tab for more details

Supper Club- this is a reservation only event that sells out every year! Perfect for date night, or for a group of friends looking for a new experience to try.
