Big congratulations to our Ellison Screaming Eagle Band and Excalibur Color Guard friends! We are so proud of you and excited for you!

We're excited to be a part of the 2025 State Wind Ensemble Festival! Congratulations to our amazing student musicians on qualifying for and being invited to participate! The event will be on May 3 on the campus of the University of Texas in the gorgeous Bates Recital Hall! Come celebrate with us if you can!

Our holiday party is this week on Wednesday! It’s going to be tons of fun, with games and treats. If you have been involved in one of our productions this year, we hope you can come celebrate the holiday season and the end of the semester with us!

Congratulations to the company of this year’s UIL One Act Play! Our first rehearsal is Tuesday, December 17th from 4:30-6:30 in the Black Box.
*Everyone in the company will need a 1 inch binder (which can be dropped off before school Tuesday if need be)

As a reminder, auditions are Monday after school and auditioners must have their audition form signed by a guardian prior to auditioning for cast or crew!
Monday also begins no backpacks at school for exam week. Students are encouraged to drop off their audition forms in the morning first thing so they do not have to worry about carrying them all day.

This year's One Act Play title is "Yellow Wallpaper"

Yellow Wallpaper is an adapted version of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s classic short story, "The Yellow Wallpaper" which tells the story of a young woman’s gradual descent into psychosis. In the play, the story unfolds in two timelines. When a young girl stumbles upon a hidden diary, she unlocks a family secret - and finds that danger lives closer to home than she possibly could have imagined. An ensemble of trapped spirits cracks open the door between multiple generations in this theatrical adaptation.

Ellison High School Choir it was such a beautiful concert. Bravo and brava to Mrs. Triggs, Mrs. Barrick and all of the choir students who performed this evening!
