We're excited to be a part of the 2025 State Wind Ensemble Festival! Congratulations to our amazing student musicians on qualifying for and being invited to participate! The event will be on May 3 on the campus of the University of Texas in the gorgeous Bates Recital Hall! Come celebrate with us if you can!

As a reminder, auditions are Monday after school and auditioners must have their audition form signed by a guardian prior to auditioning for cast or crew!
Monday also begins no backpacks at school for exam week. Students are encouraged to drop off their audition forms in the morning first thing so they do not have to worry about carrying them all day.

Candy Salads make weekend rehearsals even more fun!

We were challenged by our friends The Roo Players for #themanniquinchallenge! Our Varsity Theatre got together with our friends in Color Guard and had a lot of fun filming our own! Next we would like to issue this #KISDFineArtsMannequinChallenge to Knight Theatre and the Ellison Emeralds ! In each challenge, as you can see in our video, you are challenged to stay still for the duration of the challenge, feel free to get creative with it! Also in your video, challenge TWO fine art groups within the district to do the challenge.
