- Your child is being entertained by someone who is

not merely "pretty good with kids" - Kristin is a certified educator in both Washington and Oregon! She earned her MA in Teaching in 2011, and has since served as a full-time teacher at both the elementary and high school levels.

- You are hiring a performer who not only LOOKS like your favorite character, but who can also sing, dance, and act just like them! Kristin has over 20 years of vocal training and performance experience. She has performed in many various musical and theater productions throughout Portland, many of which are specifically for children's audiences. She also currently serves as a Teaching Artist for Northwest Children's Theater.

- Attention to detail is crucial to keeping the "magic" of every character, and a performer's costume is no exception. An accomplished seamstress, Kristin makes all of her own costumes, and strives for the highest quality to ensure true accuracy - no $25 party store Halloween costumes here! In addition, Kristin does not need to wear a wig for any of the blonde characters (though Rapunzel does require some extensions for obvious reasons :). This is a fantastic advantage that Kristin has over many performers, whose use of a wig can often take away from the image of the "real" princess.

- You are getting a performer with authentic training - Kristin has taken several professional development courses with The Walt Disney Company, and is a graduate of the Disney Institute. She has studied the classic Disney films extensively, and is an aficionado when it comes to princesses in particular.*

Frozen Fever Elsa had so much fun last night at the Drag Me to Hell - Halloween Drag Party! show at Sherwood STAR Society! She even took home 2nd prize in the costume contest - but honored to come after a few fellow Rocky Horror alumni!

Rapunzel had the honor of attending the final day of Feminist Princess Camp at Firefly Dance last Friday! She even got to participate in the recital of the Princess Chant about loving who we are inside - plus got to admire everyone’s wands, crowns, and paintings, and played several delightful rounds of Sloths in a Hurry!

Aurora got to visit the Portland Ice Rink today! Such fun to promote Portland Panto Players upcoming production of Sleeping Beauty: The Musical Panto, sponsored by Google and Starbucks

Portland Panto Players are partnering with the Portland Metro Chamber in their efforts to revitalize downtown Portland, and a portion of their proceeds go to Transition Projects, Inc. in their mission to find residences for Portland’s houseless population.

Full disclosure, today felt like playing the game on legendary mode, and this was not my finest performance… I was sick earlier this week (just a cold, took a test, it was negative 🤗), so I knew it would be shaky at best. While I do sing this song in the show, it is as a duet, so I don’t sing the whole thing, and I sing the harmony part, so I was nervous I’d forget the words or slip into the harmony, but I only did that once (brownie points if you can tell where, video in the comments)!
