We are enjoying the new look and feel of downtown Kingman!

Just one block off Route 66, the city’s investment in the historic Kingman, Arizona business district is transforming Beale Street. Upgraded and widened sidewalks, and benches and landscaping, are just a few enhancements that are supporting the area’s renaissance. Events held on Beale Street will support the entrepreneurs that have opened businesses, spur investment, and showcase some of the city’s best assets to future property owners.

They'll introduce you to the concept of microschooling and Prenda microschools, tight-knit communities of about 5-10 learners each led by an inspiring, caring adult called a “guide.” Plus, you’ll discover just how easy it is to find a microschool near you or how you can start and run an amazing microschool in your community.

At this event, you’ll:
--> hear from Prenda’s founder, Kelly Smith;
learn if a microschool is right for your child;
--> get help filling out the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) application, which will allow you to use tax dollars to pay for a microschool;
--> connect with other like-minded parents looking for K-8 options their child will love and thrive in.

Hey Route 66 enthusiasts!!! In just two short weeks, more than 800 vehicles carrying thousands of friends will be celebrating the 35th Annual Route 66 Fun Run on May 3 - 5. Fun Run participants from across the globe will meet in Seligman to travel a 140-mile stretch of Route 66 with events planned in nearly every community along the way! The procession will conclude in Topock/Golden Shores when you cross the finish line. Saturday, May 4 is the Show N Shine Car Show in downtown Kingman from 9am to 4pm. You don't want to miss this exciting weekend full of adventure!
