The California State High School Clay Target League made its way to the Kingsburg Gun Club on June 1st for the finals. We hosted 297 competitors and probably close to another 400 Grand parents, parents, brother and sisters watching their favorite team and athletes.
The weather was perfect as were the targets and the trophies.
Thanks to all that came and the Kingsburg Gun Club is honored to be your host!!

California State High School Clay Target League State Tournament bound? There are 20 OHSCTT athletes attending the State Tournament June 1st at the Kingsburg Gun Club. Those attending State will have a practice Saturday, May 25th, at 9:00am at West Hills Shooting & Training Facility. The team will supply supplies for 50 targets. If you want to shoot more, bring ammo and money.

The annual Kingsburg Gun Club 2 Day Pre-State event is coming up, June 24 & 25.
If you need to acquire some targets to avoid penalty class or yardage here’s your opportunity to get it done.

The third night of Tuesday night league is right around the corner. Competition starts at 5pm and dinner will be available.

Here is the flyer for the Kingsburg Gun Club May shoot. Prizes will be state shoot targets.
Note that the 16 yard event is a 200 target event on Saturday followed by doubles. Sunday is 100 doubles, followed by 2 handicap events. The HOA on the 600 targets will receive a certificate for all 1100 state shoot targets.
Self contained camping is free, and the lunch counter will be open both days.

It is my honor to announce the 2024 inductees into the California Trapshooting Hall of Fame.
James McCullough started shooting in 1960 and has registered 240,000 targets to date.

Warren Morimoto started registering targets in 1992 and has amassed 134,150 ATA targets.

Larry Hughes started registering ATA targets in 1971. He has posted 256,750 targets in his career. Mr. Hughes is being inducted posthumously.

These men have way to many awards, accolades, accomplishments and respect to list here. If you know these shooters reach out and congratulate them.

These great and dedicated shooters will be inducted on June 30, 2024, during the California State Shoot at the Kingsburg Gun Club.
