Last Friday was the wedding day for the Adventure Elopement I had the honor to be a part of. and David were truly lovely and were such a fantastic couple to work with. Seeing their huge smiles and lingering glances re-solidified why I love weddings and couples so much. I love....LOVE❤
And their dog😉

What a lovely day for meeting a new couple and their parents (while socially distanced) and coming up with a new plan for a late summer wedding with socially distanced seating.

I love an at home wedding and having a vineyard as a backdrop only makes it better.

And, I even had a pair of gold chiavari chairs in my truck from 307 Events and Tents so they would know exactly what one of their options would be.

Cannot wait for J+C to get married in September ♡

Today would have been the first wedding of the 2020 season and like everyone else my clients had to make alternative plans. I am happy they still chose to get married today with immediate family at home and will have their big celebration next year, but sad to not be there with them in person. Thank you MAWBY for sending a wonderful bottle of bubbles in time for them to enjoy this evening and Cheers to H+F♥

I am so pleased to announce the winners of our Adventure Elopement Giveaway!

Carrie & Jason's original wedding was planned for New Orleans in March and had to be postponed just days before their flights were scheduled to depart. They have been paired with our Little Dipper Adventure.

Miranda & David's original wedding was planned for the Royal Oak Farmer's Market and was postponed due to Covid. They have been paired with our North Star Adventure.

All will be revealed on The Four News the week of June 8th. The adventure commences June 19th and we can't wait to share all that the vendor teams have in store!

A few years ago my sweet couple were informed if they went ahead with their plan to have their rehearsal dinner at the house they rented, the neighbors would most certainly involve the authorities. I immediately offered an alternative space..at my parent's home! In a matter of 2 hours, with the help of an amazing group of their friends, we set up tables, chairs, and linens in their backyard. We figured out the outdoor sound system for great music and the food truck arrived and setup in the driveway! We did a quick ceremony walk thru in their front yard and enjoyed tacos and ice cream under a beautiful summer sky in Northern Michigan!
I am committed to doing anything I can to make your day memorable and stress free♡

Look what arrived in the mail for me today!!

recently started a pen pal program to 'connect people and create a sense of community through this weird time.'

And what a weird time it is. Learning new ways to shop, communicate, clean and sanitize..I have gone from being sad for my 2020 clients who already have or may have to postpone to being super excited for 2021 clients who are just at the beginning stages of planning their day. I'm desperately missing my family and friends I used to see on a regular basis and worried about the ones who are at risk. I am sensitive to others and always interested in people and yearn for new friends and connections.

When I first read about this last week I thought the idea was beautiful and I immediately signed up. I received a box of 10 cards, envelopes and stamps with the name and address of my new...friend! I admit I danced and shimmied a little when I got the box with my name beautifully printed on the top! I also briefly thought about FB stalking my person but quickly decided against it..I am very excited to get stated...
