These two shots, taken at Jessi and Zahar’s wonderful wedding at , were taken a fraction of a second apart by me and my lovely assistant . Capturing different angles can more comprehensively tell the story of your wedding and the love that you share! While creating portraits I always work with a second photographer as I think it adds a different feeling to the photos without taking up more of your precious wedding time celebrating with your family and friends.

I find the best photos are more on the candid side of things. I believe these photos represent my clients more than any pose I could put them in.

To help facilitate this I find a nice location and take a step back. I offer a verbal cue and let my clients just be.

When making portraits of my clients one of my favorite things to do is to chit chat with them as we walk around while I’m keeping my eye out for beautiful light and once I find it, have them walk towards the camera looking at each other, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. I shoot with telephoto lenses so I’m not at all close to them. This gives them space to be authentic and a moment to really enjoy each other and their wedding day.

And luckily the grounds of offers about a billion places to make absolutely stunning photos 📸🌲

It’s very unusual for me to pose people in roads but the remoteness of nestled in the beautiful created a unique (and safe) opportunity. Mor + Steve’s wedding was on a perfect day in the most perfect location 😍🌞🌲
