The guys are hard at work improving cue at every turn. Not only are we currently working on a massive update on the back end to "API everything" we are also working on bugs, enhancements, and more to the current codebase.

So what happens when I come across a hand painted welcome sign for a wedding? You take a pic of it, whip out Photoshop and Illustrator, and make it part of the monogram for my DJ booth. I am a stickler for feel and consistency.

Sundays wedding was an intimate and awesome time. The head count was 39 or 40 but they had the heart of any large wedding I’ve done. So honored to have been Allie and Nicks DJ. 😎😎😎

Seven. I’m now down to seven events on my calendar and it all happens over the next 21 days.

There is a level of anxiety that starts to come over me when I near the end of my season. A point where there is a nice well deserved break but also a longing for the routine to continue, however chaotic it has been.

The “off season” is also a level of creativity. A relook over the past year and what new things, processes, investments, and the like that will come. It does refresh the soul and allows for some renewed energy to emerge.

This will also be may last season in my 40s. I restarted my DJing passion 12 years prior and started my DJ business 11 years ago. My entire 40s has been engrained as a wedding DJ. And come December I’ll emerge into my 50s, feeling like I’m still in my 30s. This career is partly why I still am young, and the best it yet to come. Just so happens the pictures here are from 2013 and just a couple weeks ago. Ten years difference. 😎

It’s been an incredible DJ season. Seven to go.
