WCSO Makes Arrest in Disturbing School Incident
Subject: Alexander Eli Bradley, age 28, of Salters, South Carolina, was arrested and charged by Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office with Breach of Peace High & Aggravated and Disturbing Schools (S.C. 16-17-0420).
On January 29, 2025, deputies with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office received information to respond to Williamsburg County School District Administrative building concerning an undisclosed matter concerning an employee, Alexander Bradley. Law enforcement was advised that Bradley was seen leaving the residence after concealing a weapon in his pocket, which raised significant concerns regarding his intentions.
After receiving this information, deputies mobilized to intercept Bradley based on his physical description and the description of the vehicle he was operating. Their coordinated response resulted in his apprehension on Academy Street in Kingstree, where he was taken into custody without further incident. An investigation into the incident indicated that Bradley was en route to the Williamsburg County School District Administrative building to confront individuals he perceived as threatening.
Alexander Bradley was taken into custody and transported to the Williamsburg County Detention Center on multiple charges. We want to thank Williamsburg County Fire Chief Randy Swinton, the Kingstree Police Department, and the United States Marshal’s Task Force for their invaluable assistance in ensuring Bradley’s safe apprehension.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
