A last insult, all festive Yuletide tapers are fair game for this lad. He particularly enjoys stealing them from child carolers simply trying to share the joy of the season. Be especially vigilant should your candle be made of tallow, as this is the tiny terror’s favorite treat. Santa has a reward for anyone able to stop this candle caper.

A nose for naughtiness! This brute is the bane of bakers the world over, as Gáttaþefur has a fine-tuned sense of smell that can sniff out bread a mile away. Presumed to be the first in the door upon its thunderous opening by Hurðaskellir, he uses his nose to confirm the presence of the various tasty treats his brothers seek, but his favorite carb-y consumable is his true aim, especially anything fried. Anyone who can nab the nose will earn a hefty reward from Santa himself.

Keep a lookout for this lookout! Gluggagægir is the hinge upon which the entire Yule Lad gang’s operation rests, for this observant offender is the Lads’ eye in the sky. Scouting through windows, he cases every condo and castle, searching for the right conditions for their next target. Santa urges all to keep food and dirty dishes far away from any window and draw the curtains, though he has prepared a reward for anyone able to lay a trap that even the perceptive peepers of this convict can’t suss out until it’s too late. There will be an added bonus should the sting also nab other Yule Lad members.

A sneaky scofflaw scampers! If you want to catch this escaped convict, you’ll need to keep your gaze trained skyward. The nimble Bjúgnakrækir hides in the dark rafters, on the lookout for savory sausages to swipe. A keen nose may notice the subtle smell of smoke that clings to his clothes, for smoked is his favorite variety. Santa has a reward should anyone sniff out this stealthy scoundrel.

This trespassing terror loves nothing more than disturbing the peace of an otherwise tranquil night. Approach with caution, as he is suspected to be the muscle of the Yule Lad gang, breaking into whichever home the gang has decided to menace and leaving with as much of a ruckus as his arrival. Due to the danger, his reward is double that of his other cohorts'.
