Sweet & Savory Pastry Food/Wine Pairing Is Back!
Kim from Flour Power Banking Company will be whipping up another batch of pastries and paring with our wines next weekend, May 13th/14th. For those who went through this experience a month ago, you know how awesome her pastries are. The thing I really like is her pastries are not just sweet, there is also mouth watering savory! We were literally packed last time, so make sure you get your reservations in.
Chicken Shawarma Triangles with 2021 Albariño
A take on the Middle Eastern staple, seasoned chicken with a tahini yogurt sauce, wrapped in buttery phyllo pastry. (Vegan spanikopita available on request)
Strawberry mousse tart with The Hacker Rosé
Almond shortbread crust with a fluffy fresh strawberry mousse, strawberry drizzle and mousseline cream.
