Happy to be bringing local NC oysters back to our Saturday pop up oyster night, tonight featuring Slash Creek oysters from Hatteras farmed by Katherine McGlade & Spurgeon Stowe. It’s been a rough past year for many NC oyster farmers with challenging weather conditions resulting in a significant crop losses. Delighted to see them on the rebound!

It’s FREE Pearls oyster Friday …every dozen raw comes with free pearls! Prepped miles and miles of Rockefeller, we also have baked oysters with preserved lemon butter, fried oysters, oyster stew and more! Kidding on the pearls (happy April 1), but if you find one, by all means keep it!

Big weekend for oysters…in addition to the usual Friday night pop up , I’ll be hosting the OBX Oyster Tours as part of . Ticket holders start with a tour of the demonstration lease in Wanchese, followed by a tour out on , followed by a tasting of 6 NC oyster . Tickets sold out for the tour, but walk-ins welcome at Trio to get the oyster tasting!

Last pop-up oyster bar door a couple weeks, as they will be closed first two weeks of February. In addition to two types of oysters raw on the half, Rockefeller, Chorizo baked, Fried oysters, and oyster stew, we have some pastrami spiced smoked oysters for something new. So much for our winter storm. Didn’t get cold enough here on the beach, so oyster night is on . Tonight we are featuring Blackberry Point oysters from farmer Miles Cockrell in Virginia. Plump and delicious on the half shell, but we are also featuring two types of baked oysters, oyster stew, and fried oysters as well.

NEW OYSTER ALERT! Join me tonight for oyster Friday. Happy to bring in the newest oyster from Matthew Schwab’s , Southern Salts. Farmed at the mouth of the New River, NC, these beauties have a clean briny taste and refreshing aroma of the incoming tide. Two types of baked oysters, fried oysters, oyster stew, and a smoked oyster and potato salad appetizer for tonight as well.
