A little piece of our story. Part One. Did you know the idea for Vidl started in a 200 sq. ft. sublet space in the back of yoga studio. The business was called, Cook to be Well and served grab-and-go meals from a small refrigerated case in the studio lobby. The idea was to make delicious plant-based meals available in Knoxville. That was May of 2018.
2022 has been a year overflowing with joys and sorrows for us. Cooking and sharing nourishing meals is how we take care of ourselves and others. The beans in my hand are called yellow-eye-peas. Here’s to hoping they bring prosperity and health to you and to us. We’ll be cooking these this weekend for the restaurant and The Be Well Box is back on Monday 1/9. Ordering links for the box are in our bio and the dine in restaurant opens on Friday. Join us for brunch Saturday and Sunday.
