Our Story

St. Mary's Chapel is a local historic landmark in Knoxville, Illinois. It was once the Chapel of St. Mary's Girls School: a girls charm school for "higher learning" that closed amidst the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Coming up on it's 131st birthday this Spring, major strides have been made to bring this timeless & romantic monument back to life & back to the local community.
