Wilson has worked with the studio since 2016 involved tin all aspects of the the creative process: video, still photography and audio with a focus on lighting technique. He initially did his internship with us as a student in Pellissippi State's Media Arts College.

This was a fun shoot. 1971 Honda 175 motorcycle restored by Ron Cain to factory new condition –with parts for this restoration coming from all over the world. Absolutely spotless. So clean we rolled it unto the white studio seamless and it didn't leave a mark. I put a highlight in the center of the background to draw attention to the headlight –which to me, is the eye and face of this creature!

Working with Katie Moon, 14 year old actor represented by the Talent Trek Agency. Shown here is the "commercial headshot" which typically is an upbeat look. Also, a seven second "slate"video which casting directors look at to get a glimpse of the actor's personality. Katie also sings and plays ukulele. She is active with the Knoxville Children's Theatre. I love my work. However sometimes the assignment is especially fun! I was working with Neiman Maclin this week to produce some promotional images for his juggling act. The headshot was captured in the style of the "Golden Age of Cinema" (similar lighting technique) except, of course, those famous portraits of Marlena Dietrich, Humphrey Bogard, etc. were all in black and white.

An actor's headshot is the first thing a casting director sees –so in a sense, it's your first audition. The commercial headshot (left photo) is generally upbeat, Theatrical headshots (on right) show more depth and character. Agencies need both in order to represent their talent. It is vital for these photos to be current –that they depict what the actor looks like today –not two years ago.
