ANNOUNCEMENT: my loves! with so much peace + gratitude I want to let you all know I’ve decided to close our shop in the Old City after 3 incredible years serving independent bridal to the women of Knoxville + beyond. this wasn’t easy, but when an opportunity came along to smoothly transition our styles to another indie shop (hello @opalbride!), I finally allowed myself to consider closing this chapter so I can focus on my mental and physical health, my family, and the precious and scarce weekends with my stepdaughter.
It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to something you built from the ground up. Something that was a part of so many special moments. But all of those happened not because of a place or a dress - but because of human connection, trust, and so many moments of kindness and joy I will never forget that will live on far beyond a brick and mortar 🤍
a special thank you to our talented designers and especially my mentor @katemcdonaldbridal, wedding industry friends and fellow small business owners, @hpound + @kristenwasik for being the only two special people I could ever trust to help me, MY BRIDES and their families for trusting me, my mother who was there for every personal and business decision, and my incredible husband who encouraged me to slow down and listen to my heart - I am deeply humbled by your support and love. here’s to the next chapter 🙏🏻✨
