Our Mission & Story

Our mission is to make every event memorable through our delicious food, detailed service, and thoughtful concern for every guest.

Lighthouse Knoxville is a meeting and event venue located in the heart of West Knoxville. The perfect spot for weddings, dinners, meetings, nonprofit events, receptions, anniversary and birthday parties and more, we offer a casual indoor-outdoor setting in the middle of the city. Convenient to I40/I75, we’re about 20 minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport. Lighthouse Knoxville can hold up to 400 guests throughout our six indoor and outdoor spaces.

The Building has a long history: built over 40 years ago as the Hungry Fisherman Restaurant, it next served as office space for a behavioral health center. It opened as Lighthouse Knoxville event center in May 2012. The lights in the building are from a 1940s Oklahoma schoolhouse. In 2019 and 2020, the original hardwood floors and soaring beams in The Main Event Room have been restored to their original luster, and the rooms freshly repainted.

Every event at Lighthouse Knoxville offers a taste of history to be gently blended with the memories being made by every “I do” guest, party, or event participant. Come and add your next celebration to our history!
