2025 is going to look different…
15 years, and now to the next chapter.
After 15 years, this 2024 summer was my last as the heel clackin, crazy designing, do things different, and you can never have too much navy Live Laugh Love Weddings planner. I cannot say enough about how much I have loved these 15 years.
To my wedding friends, thank you for embracing my crazy ideas, trusting my planning, and just being such an amazing groups of friends. I will miss you the most!
To my clients, thank you for making me part of such a special and beloved moment in your life. I always wanted you to have the day you wanted, and strived to make your wedding one that was truly made for you. Thank you letting me shine with creativity, keep you on a schedule, and be honest every step of the way.
There are a few friends I truly want to thank for my amazing career. These people made me find a part of my creative self, I never knew; made me believe in my talents when I was truly doubting myself; and gave me the confidence to embrace who I am.
My family who has given me more than enough thru these years. Thank you for believing in me, putting in countless hours to make projects happen, for being with me thru the late nights, the tears, the joys, the long hours of babysitting. Thank you!! thank you!! thank you!!! Kevin Gaddis and too many to name!
Second to Sarah Isbell Burtch and Erin Gamble who helped me thru so hundreds of weddings. These girls busted their bitts more than a few times. They set up tiles in patterns they didn’t understand, they pulled out thousands of chairs for your guests, have assisted hundreds of thousands guests in finding their seats, and have probably unwrapped millions of sparklers. They’ve sweated, cried, and have been there thru every grueling hour to make weddings happen!!
Third to those vendors who have become more than just co workers but friends.
Sam George and Samuel Franklin you know you are true gem in my life, have been there thru my worst times and best times. There’s not enough words.
Jim Ogle who always asked what I needed and always delivered with every request! You made me believe not only that I was an awesome planner, but an awesome mom as well.
Miles Davis who has been with me since my first wedding, and has been with me thru the craziest times of problems; You always were willing to share a laugh and pivot at the slightest change!!
Catering staff including Rex, Bradford Jones, Chris Gildrie, and Kate Townsend; you all have been thru the most weddings with me, and busted it every time. You never said no, and always made sure not only every guest & client was taken care of, but made sure my staff of vendors were taken care of from a simple glass of water, to the sweet potato biscuits to go, and always giving me one more tall glass of spiced tea.
And Jennifer Jones Crook who has photographed most of my clients! Thank you for your patience, thoughtfulness, and endurance. As we have said many times, I don’t know how you do your job! Hope for you to photography my family in the coming years!
Channing Muller of DCM Communications who guided me thru so many obstacles, made me embrace the unique views I had for weddings, and kept my fears turning! You made such an impact on me that made me believe in the talents I have today.
There are so many more; LB Floral and Lesley Britt, Cheryl Cobble Stokey, Regina Long, Crystal Williams Hertwig, Vintage Floral Designs, Sammy Scott, Jason Lovely, The Mill & Mine - Special Events, Marblegate Farm the whole staff at All Occasions Party Rentals, Jason McClure, White Table, Rentals, Brian Marsh, Danielle Danni Evans Campbell, Katherine Oliver Birkbeck, and so many more!!!
So what’s next for me……
I am also focusing more on my family and my kids. They have sacrificed for me the most, and they need me the most now. So keep an eye out for what adventures I may get myself into to!!
I will continue my small building projects, and hope it to grow. You can follow me Handedness for more!
