ATTENTION: PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT!
After much consideration, more than 75 years in business & 3 generations of family customer service to this community, we have decided that this will be our last year in business. The building will be up for sale, but the business is still currently open until further notice. We have enjoyed every year of it and have been very blessed with many many faithful & new customers! THANK YOU COMMUNITY ❤️
We have also employed so many great people that we have grown to cherish as family. Without them, we couldn’t have been so successful & always, hopefully, making everyone’s experience with us feel the same. Like family… Ivan Mooney,grandpa, started the flower shop soon after the depression.

We can’t thank everyone enough for their overwhelming community Support & our dedicated employees over the years. It has been humbling & a pleasure to help you make someone smile or comfort them during sorrow. It’s a very hard & bittersweet decision. It feels like losing another relative or a precious tradition that’s been a big part of our lives. most of my family & lots of employees kids have grown up here! So From the bottom of grandpa, my dads, Rick Mooney & my heart, THANK YOU VERY MUCH EVERYONE! ❤️
10+ hours a day, seven days a week
& even more on holidays just gets hard especially when your family isn’t here to help anymore.. It takes a lot of family & personal time owning a very busy business. Unfortunately Most of our family & some dear friends that have worked here over the years, have passed on as well. Therefore taking away the benefit of family time too. The younger generations have proudly moved on to other dreams of their own so we don’t have any family to carry it on any longer. They see/know the “time” struggles & no matter how much we love something… everything eventually must end.
You can still always order online at www.flowersbyivanandrick.com or you can call 765-513-8594 and leave a message if no answer. You can still come into the shop as well until we permanently close it. I will just be in & out delivering. My employees have been greatly welcomed at other shops! I am also starting to slow down on ordering new items, in order to be able to sell everything and close eventually. I will announce our final good bye when we know when that will be for sure! We just don’t want you to think we are already closed with the for sale sign outside.
We have many wonderful memories to cherish & we wish everyone well! You will all, always be in our hearts & prayers! I know & trust that the other shops in town will welcome you with open arms & take good care of all your needs eventually! We will also be having many ongoing & changing sales to get rid of many things as we clear out years of overstocked items! Hopefully see you soon!
