The Foundry is a locally owned family business. Our blended and blessed family has resided in Kountze, Texas since 2012.

Jim and I met and married in 2004 and in 2007 became the true definition of the "his, mine and ours" family. While both Jim and I have experienced successful careers for over 20 years, we have long felt the desire to build something of our own that would set about a legacy for our family. Our Story
In 2016 we began to feel the stirrings and desire to own a wedding and event venue. In 2020 we purch

ased 18 acres on Deer St., where the venue is now nestled among the large oak and pine trees. We would walk through this land repeatedly, visualizing and praying over our dream. We prayed for guidance and researched a name that would capture the vision we had for our venue. The decision for a name was not easily reached. We were looking for a name to reflect the values that are expected when a couple enters the sacred bonds of marriage, and The Foundry was established. Based on the root word found, meaning to set up or establish on a firm basis or for enduring existence, this name characterizes the very essence of the marriage bonds by providing a location that is designed to provide for an enduring existence. Let's just say that our vision didn't line up with God's timing, because it wasn't until 2022 that God's open door led to a new design and vision for our venue. Our original vision had been for a very large facility that would seat hundreds of people, but our new dream created a smaller, more intimate venue. This smaller venue allows not only a more intimate experience, but an affordable option for those who do not need to seat several hundred people. Family Mission Statement
We will relentlessly pursue Christ first and promise to love each other and others well. Entitled to nothing, we will work hard to earn all things. We will show respect, kindness, and grace as we serve the Lord and others. We are people of unwavering faith and substantial integrity. Built on family values, The Foundry promises a personal connection and a desire to deliver exceptional service and a quality experience to all who we are blessed to encounter.

🇺🇸✨ Celebrate Freedom Week at The Foundry ✨🇺🇸

The establishment of Celebrate Freedom Week by President Eisenhower:

“I, Dwight D. Eisenhower, President of the United States of America, do hereby designate the period beginning September 17 and ending September 23, 1956, as Constitution Week; and I urge the people of the United States to observe that week with appropriate ceremonies and activities… I also urge them at that time to give solemn and grateful thought to that great eventful week in September 1787 when our Constitution was signed… thus laying the foundation for the birth of a new Nation.”

This week, we honor Celebrate Freedom Week, a time to reflect on the values, sacrifices, and enduring freedoms on which our nation was built.

At The Foundry Venue, we are proud to stand on the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. May this week be a reminder of the freedoms we cherish and the responsibility we share in protecting them.

🌙✨ Sweet Dreams September! ✨🌙

This September, every dress you purchase helps provide a cozy bed for a child in need! For each dress sold, $50 will be donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Beaumont, TX, a non-profit dedicated to ensuring that every child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

With their motto, “No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town,” they build and deliver beds complete with comforter sets and pillows.

Join us in making a difference and helping children in our community enjoy a restful night's sleep.

We thank You for every couple, family, and friend You have brought to The Foundry. We are grateful for the memories created here, the love celebrated, and the joy shared within these walls.

Bless those who have come before us—their stories, their unions, and the milestones they entrusted us to be part of.
