When the sugar packets match the centerpiece…Rae & Reed’s wedding was amazing in every single way and perhaps I am a bit biased, but I don’t think so. When you get to be part of someone’s wedding that you have know when she was in her mama’s tummy and is part of your chosen family and you see her grow up amongst her family and friends and marry this awesome guy who is so perfect for her, you cannot help but love the day! And when you get to do it twice? You are so happy you do what you do and can help your friends. Love…true love!

Making wax seals is on of my favorite things to make for my couples. I don’t get to do it often enough but it doesn’t stop me from buying more fun stamps and trying new ways to make perfect seals!
These are for a particularly special bride and her hubby who have waited a very long time for this celebration with their friends and family after forgoing their big wedding due to COVID. Instead, on 6.6.20, they got a very sentimental micro-wedding when only ten people were allowed to gather at a time outdoors. I can honestly say without an ounce of doubt that those 11 people who gathered (yes, we snuck in an extra) at Loch Ridge Park that evening created a beautiful and meaningful ceremony that will be hard to beat next weekend. But the contents of the envelopes these seals will embellish,is the start of another sentimental moment between Reed, Rae and all the people who love them so. I love when couples just understand the important parts of a wedding celebration…..*sigh*

I spend so much time researching and developing good relationships with the best venues and vendors…sometimes before they even open. I intentionally align rel(EVENT) with unique, clever and creative people who fill our souls and make our events outstanding. is one such venue. Two sisters. One dream. Blood sweat and tears were poured into their venue and they brought it to the Poconos for couples in the Lehigh Valley to celebrate their weddings. While raising their families, these two powerful women (and their dad) ripped up the pews of this church to make tables, painted, planted and designed cool vignettes for epic photos and are always changing things up to keep it fresh. ask them about the bar made out of organ pipes! They are EASY to work with and have some great rentals to keep you from having to go out and buy decor and then try to sell it after your wedding! this is one of our top venues to show to clients for so many reasons besides the ones I just gave you!

I finally have some time to take the dogs for a well deserved relaxing walk in the park, but trust me when I say we are preparing for weddings & events,still in planning stages,behind the scenes!
Between cleaning votive and vases, taking inventory to see what we need to replace or refresh and packing up for our upcoming double header in two weeks with two galas back to back and perfecting timelines in between….we are humming along. And there is so much designing to do for our fall and 2025 events!
But to be honest…we are NEVER doing this again (cue Jill rolling her eyes as she reads this). Two in one weekend? Nope. No more! two weeks in a row? Probably not.
We are going to be even more intentional and select with our clients. Choosing only the couples and companies that align with our pillars of this company:
1. Friendly (Including being kind to all vendors, staff and creatives) & Fun
2. Classic, Natural & Easy Creativity (events don’t need to be complicated to be beautiful and memorable)
3. Emphasis on Heartfelt Moments (company or organizations missions, family, traditions, history, etc.)
4. Most importantly…Reflecting Our Clients
This will allow us to really focus on what we think is important within events. Having fun with everyone involved, engaging all the senses with top notch tastes, scents, sounds, and feelings, making sure our clients relax and worry about just having a great time making memories, and our team being overly prepared, yet ready to solve unforeseen challenges in a pivotal moment….decisively and without fuss.

You know I love all things vintage, including vintage crafts like pressing flowers, preserving flowers, sewing, needle crafts, calligraphy, watercolor, photography…the list goes on and on. Today I took Colleen’s bridal bouquet, John’s boutonniere (would you believe I have that word on a post it so i remember how to spell it? Right next to “hors d’oeuvres”.) and some flowers from their wedding to be preserved and turned into pictures, coasters and a tray for them and Colleen’s mom Susan. The creatives at are patiently creating these items and in a few months we will get back these gorgeous memories to enjoy forever! Can you say “heirloom”? Love this stuff and am so impressed with their studio! It is huge and it was so busy which makes this female entrepreneur very happy for that female entrepreneur!

The Lake House Inn was the perfect backdrop for a stellar wedding day for John & Colleen. The rain arrived right on time with 20 minutes of sprinkles causing guests and wedding party to put on the smiles, open a few umbrellas and get these two married on the beautiful Lake Nockamixon. A good attitude is the best accessory! Of course the rest of the night was perfection with great music by and fabulous food by ! More photos to come from because we wanna see how Grace captured it all!

I’m hooked on vintage tools and beautiful details. I bought this button hook (used to be used to help ladies button their little boots) maybe 40 years ago before I was even a mom or a planner, in the hopes that one day I would use it to button my daughter’s wedding gown and this would become a special heirloom to pass along to her daughter.
Well.
My daughter hates antiques and wore a stretchy gown (thank you )she slipped over her head and didn’t even have one single button.
But I still hold onto it in case a MOB struggles with her daughter’s buttons and wants to borrow it out of my emergency kit.
And just in case one of my future granddaughter’s needs it.

Then I do the flowers.
And every time I do the flowers I tell myself this is the last time! .
And then I see flowers and I just love them and need to make something pretty with them.
But when I need the true professionals to come and do it right and with great flair and expertise??
I call blooms or my Jersey girl !

Using the unexpected hidden spot on a family farm and then turning it into the focal point of your wedding ceremony with beautiful string music playing under the canopy of the woods. Perfection. Every flower that placed on the stones, in the woods and on the ground was artfully placed, to convey the lighthearted & casually fun feeling that Stephen & Catriona wanted their guests to experience.
It worked.
Fireball shots, pant legs rolled up, serious dancing, and the party still kept going after the band stopped and we departed. .

Are you scared of summertime outdoor weddings in you backyard?? Relax.
We have umbrellas for rain.
We have umbrellas for sun.
We have cute buckets of sunscreen and bug wipes.
We have the best tent company to install early in the week.
We always order a bigger tent in case of driving rain.
We have tarps in our emergency kit. And we bring paper towels to wipe down anything that gets wet from ceremony chairs to golf cart seats.
But most importantly… We have an excellent, fast Plan B that we implement without hesitation!

FREE! Got your attention, right? We don’t want our clients to have to source bar menus, signs, frames, table numbers or easels they may not ever use again.
With two professional graphic designers on our team, and a big inventory of rentals, we will design & create your small signage and print it on crisp white or ivory card stock or foam core (nominal printing cost if we have to use a printer) and place it in a frame (silver, black, white or gold). The frames are rentals ($2-15) but our table number clips are complimentary. We also have table top and floor easels for displaying bigger signs and a variety of frames to go with them…for a fraction of the cost of buying them. Yes, you can probably buy them and resell them, but then YOU have to store them until your wedding, haul them to your reception, then drag them home afterwards, then take photos and then list them, then wait for interested buyers and eventually you just give them to your friends who get engaged and recoup NOTHING. When we handle all the design, printing and framing and hauling, you have FUN! That’s it.

Everything else is in our emergency kit.

Members of our team are invested, trained & certified to create a timeline for your event that is beyond detailed and accounts for every person working every moment of your event down to the minute. From vendors, venue, family, staff and wedding party members.
Why does this matter?
Because it literally leaves nothing to chance and gives each of those people a framework for the day, so even if one of of us missing (in the bathroom trying to bustle your lace gown), across the room or in the kitchen, everyone else knows exactly what is happening and when. It also contains each vendors contact information, each VIP member of your family’s info, even the hashtags to use on social media afterwards. We have a floorplan, music selections, and even the order for bridesmaid to get their hair and make up done l, so everyone knows what is occurring until the very last shuttle leaves. Sometimes it can be six pages long!
BUT should anything throw the day off, we are prepared to pivot and adjust the timeline with one simple adjustment in the software that can be emailed to everyone almost immediately, to reset the day and everyone will be back on track and able to use the new timeline on their phone or iPad.
Have we ever had to do that? Nope.
But we are ready if it happens. That’s why our couples and their families are relaxed. All. Day. Long.
