American Legion Post 130

American Legion Post 130 Dana-Howard-Weekley American Legion Post 130 in LaBelle, FL, is a Veterans organization with Social Quarters, Dinning and Hall Facilities.

Lounge privileges are extended to members Guest and members in good standing of the DAV, VFW and AMVETS. In addition to The American Legion Family, the Post also provides a home for the local Disabled American Veterans Chapter 144. Post 130 is the proud caretaker of Sp4c. Nicholas Joseph Cutinha's Medal of Honor. We are humbled and diligent in our duties on behalf of the Cutinha family. The Medal of Honor is publicly displayed in the Post Hall.

Final Salute for William “Bill” Davis Great job honoring his legacy.

Today we made 526 Christmas Donners for our community. This is a yearly community commitment the American legion veterans and their families prepare on Christmas day. This event starts days in advance with make cakes, slicing turkeys, fixing stuffing/dressing and geeens. Then a few volunteers come in at 4 am Christmas morning to finish making mashed potatoes and gravy and heat everything up. We have a lot of volunteers show up and help serve and assemble trays plus our drivers! As the post commander I want to thank every one who came out to help today! A special thank you to AJ Malin, Amie Wilson, Russell Kay Alderman and an extra thank you to my husband Richard Kohutek for the help yesterday and today. Another successful Christmas Finner in the books!
