Brrr- it is SOO COLD already! And the next 2 mornings will be COLDER than this morning was! While below zero most all of the day today, I know our windchills were around -30 this morning. They are anticipating a windchill around -40 the next 2 mornings(yes- around 6am or so is when the temperatures are at their lowest). My kitchen sink faces north- cold cold cold. I have opened the doors underneath to instill a little warmth under the sink. And the next 2 nights I will run a drip in the sink. Something worth thinking about, especially if you have an older home and/or are up on the 2nd floor LONG FROM the source of your water. In our greenhouses we have moved some plants up to the Floral Shop for the night.

On Tuesday, New Years Eve, we are open 9AM- Noon. Local close deliveries will happen. We definitely will go to both hospitals.
The Fireworks are BEAUTIFUL from our parking lot(provided there is no fog!). The 6PM show is very nice.
We are closed on New Years Day, and open 9-1 on Thu., Fri., and Sat.

It has been a bit since I designed with candles for a sympathy piece. They thought the family would like to take this home and burn the candles over the next few days.I think it is very elegant.

Lots and lots of church deliveries! We have been delivering poinsettias to churches for about 3 weeks already. Today was the final day :)

I like walking through the greenhouse and shop at night. And I REALLY like the light up items that even have "all on" buttons OR "Timer" buttons. Also nice? the NO CARE Amaryllis! Seriously- NO CARE!

Someone got married today! This was a surprise bouquet from a coworker. Whether she used it at the Courthouse, or just enjoyed the beautiful flowers, happy wedding day!
