My Dad John passed away last week. Many of you knew him as "Dr. Greenthumb" at La Crosse Floral. You may have heard him on the radio- waaay back on WLCX! He was also on many many radio stations and both WKBT and WXOW over the years. He photographed many events such as Oktoberfest, Riverfest, and Applefest for them. And he helped to photograph St. Rose Chapel, along with Sister Malinda, into a fantastic book. He, Roy Lukes(The Ridges Sanctuary, Baileys Harbour WI), and Bob Lee(another phenomenal naturalist), charted all the native orchids of Wisconsin and compiled another book. Wonderful man and an amazing Dad who taught me what it was to love NATURE.

Giant monsteras are perfect in such a Corporate setting. The scale with respect to the building is just amazing!

So, Oktoberfest steins- WITH the year and the Oktoberfest button on them. Some were gifts as a Corporate sponsor, some were in my Grandpa Hans collection. He was the 1969- 1970 Festmaster. We are open 9-1 Mon. through Sat. Come see us.
