The Maridell Center is a fun and events space in La Grande. The activities include:

The Maridell Center is a fun and events space in La Grande located next to the Post Office on Washington Avenue in what was previously known as the Elks' Lodge. The space continues to undergo renovations and improvements and has been adding something new each year. Current attractions include:

Roller skating - $6.00
Rental skates - $2.00 for quad and $3.00 for inline
Laser Pirates Laser Tag - $6.

Game Room with pool tables ,ping-pong, foos ball, air hockey and arcades

The large banquet hall and kitchen are available for rent to anyone interested in housing meetings, comedy nights, concerts, dances, or other events in that location. Our small party room is also available for rent for smaller meetings, baby showers, bridal showers, small dinners, workshops, etc. We also have ongoing classes including Zumba, Hula Hoop and skating lessons. Every Thursday we have Country Swing Dancing with dance instruction available. Our hugest event is the Night Fright Haunted House Attraction which runs throughout the month of October. We are sad to say that due to the COVID virus and the sale of the Maridell Center building, the Night Fright Haunted House will not be open for 2020. However we are on the lookout for a new location and plan to be back to scare you in 2021!

Sale will continue one more weekend! Prices reduced!

Our going out of business sale will continue this Friday and Saturday, May 29-30, 8am to 12pm both days.

We have lots left, including soft serve/frozen yogurt machines, 2 refrigerated toppings/sandwich bars, coolers, pizza warmer, glassware, roller skates, sound equipment, stage, lighting, decorations, chairs, tables, and so much more!

GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 shut down we are forced to close permanently so we are having a HUGE SALE this Friday and Saturday May 22-23 from 8:00am to Noon at the Maridell Center 1124 Washington Avenue.

UPDATE: Due to weather exacerbating the ongoing maintenance issues we will be unable to open today (Sat. Feb,8th)

We are sorry to be closed this long and inconvenience so many, especially during such dismal weather.
We are expecting to have the building ready on time for our regular hours next week.

Unfortunately, lingering maintenance issues have forced us to remain closed for Friday (Feb, 7th) as well.
