Hey all! So this one is one of my faves off the tape I'm working on, love em all, but I've been on a huge Goldie kick lately, so I'm loving the DnB. Idk I did this back when I was doing my beat a day (which went for 250 daysish). Definitely did a lot of editing and worked on it. Think this ones almost done!

Hey folks, got a few more previews from the mixtape coming. This is one of them. I originally wrote this back in 2017 as a type beat, but I think its grown, got some good input from some ppl I trust and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Let me know what y'all think.

Sorry I'm posting later than usual, but I wanted to keep my fans updated on the progress on this mixtape. I've been sick the past few days, but I had a really good session today despite it. I was actually working on this tune. So let me know what y'all think. I figure best case scenario I've probably got a month of work ahead of me on the tape, but it seems to be going really well. I'm really happy with the warmth and movement I'm getting from my mixes.

Hey been working on this EP/symphony, not really sure what the capitalists call it, its just music tho. Anyways, this is from this more cinematic orchestral passage that I wrote. Just wanted to share and see if anybody liked it, and/or might wanna see this finished and released.

Hey all, sorry I haven't posted as much this week. Still in recovery from my recent surgery and headed back for another one in a few weeks. And I'm trying to put im some time at my day job, but I've been working on this project... Its an "EP" if you wanna call it that, its 4 tracks about 25 to 30 minutes long. And its sort of cinematic, imo, anyways its still in a creative writing stage. However, I've been working on it for a while now and I think it sounds pretty cool, so I found this one minute section that I thought people would like. This and to be fair a lot of the project as a whole was influenced by artists like Goldie, Eprom, Alix Perez, Massive Attack, G Jones, Aphex Twin, DJ Shadow, etc. Truly a piece of dark electronic sound art. Anyways theres you know like 25ish more minutes to come of this, so let me know what you think! Also been learning a ton about music via the twitch community and especially 2 of my favorite guys X&G aka Gaszia and Kollaba.

Hey all this is the final track off the upcoming mixtape!
This one was actually for a beat battle on the Plastician twitch beat battle. I did not win but was honored to get in the top 10. I really tried my best to channel the sort of deep dub that has both influenced me as a creative and the newer stuff that I've really had the chance to see grow and be a part of.
As far as the imagery I tried to sort of do this one to pay hommage to all the DJs that ended up on twitch during quarantine. For me, I live alone and I made it through the past 6 months by making music like every day and it was important to me to have that community where we talked about music and other stuff and learned and grew together. Biggest s/o to X&G, but also KTN, baauer, stish ofc, nightmare sequence, sh1, speaker honey, l*dream, and so many more. Without that community I wouldnt have probably even been able to pull this off and certainly wouldn't have had the confidence. Much love and can't wait to share the full thing.

Hey all only a couple more days until the full mixtape will be available to stream/download.
This track actually started from this sample from a movie called close encounters of the third kind. I've always had an attachment to nerdy, alien, sci fi stuff, and this movie always spoke volumes to me. The scene the sample is ripped from is when the aliens meet the humans and they communicate through music and then they all go to a pink floyd show or something like that, kinda ends there, but thats what I figure (sorry for the spoilers). But yeah this is taken from a little later in the track, but this track sort of became about that though, different cultures coming together peacefully through music.
The visual for this one again is a collage not only of things I like or found interesting, but people who were sampled in the track. If you've been watching all these you might've noticed the OG's hiding in each picture. I drew these in notebooks for years and I've had fun transfering them over and using them in my art. Really hope y'all are digging this too, if you have any q's ask me in the comments VVV

Hey all, we are counting down to the release and I've got another preview for ya.
I think much like the collage, one of the things present in the music, is that the ideas and samples are pulled from all over. That creates these different textures that atleast for me put me in one space or another, trigger something, evokes some sort of emotion or feeling. I don't know if thats more of a statement about the nature of art in modern society or just because it sounds cool. What I do know is that by for instance like remaking sounds and then sampling sounds and coming up with your own sounds, you can create something cool.
Not really sure too much about what to say about the visual for this one, I feel like out of all the collages its not like the most thematically tied together, but I really like how spaced out everything is aesthetically.
