We had two sets of triplets born today!! Unfortunately one of the babies didn’t make it but we did everything we could to help. All of our mama goats in the maternity ward have now all had their babies! It’s been a stressful time with all this cold weather we have had over the last week but thankful they have a warm and cozy place to stay. So we ended up with 13 total babies with 12 surviving. They are all doing well and growing already! We are looking forward to our baby goat snuggle sessions this Saturday on the farm (as long as the weather cooperates).

Okay y’all….we are doing something new on the farm since we’ve had some beautiful baby goats born this week and have 3 more Mama’s due this week as well…..BABY GOAT SNUGGLES!!!

Next Saturday January 11th from 9AM-12:00 I will be having an opportunity for you to sign up for a 30 minute session to snuggle with baby goats inside our party barn!

Our party barn is heated so you will be warm while you get to enjoy loving on the baby goats and feel free to take all the pictures you want. Post what time slot you would like, you will pay $25 for a 30 minute session and you can bring up to 4 people for your time session with you. We will have enough baby goats to make 2 separate groups for each time available so I can take 2 different families for each 30 minute session. This would be great for any age group!!! Who doesn’t just melt when you hold a baby goat!!!

Right now we have 5 baby goats that are brand spanking new and more to be born this week 💙🎀💙🎀

As 2024 comes to a close I would like to thank every single one of our followers and supporters of our little farm. This year far exceeded my expectations as we stayed booked every single weekend this entire year! We were able to host a free community Easter Event and egg hunt, we held our 2nd Annual Exceptional Day on the farm for the special needs population that is near and dear to my heart. We also hosted our first summer camp on the farm with about 30 kids! We had SO many people donate items, donate their time and services, and gave financially to make sure all these children and people who came to the farm had a wonderful experience for all of these events! Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough but I am so grateful!

Thank you to everyone who attended our public farm tours, who had a party at our farm, and folks who rented the building this year.

For those that dont know, my parents both have a lot of medical needs. I am blessed with the best family support to help take care of them but this upcoming year I plan to do things a little differently than I did in 2024 to spend more time with them. In 2024 we offered 2 parties on Saturdays and 1 party on Sunday afternoons.

For 2025 I will still offer 2 parties on Saturdays. These Saturday parties will still provide access to the party barn, bounce house, train ride around the farm, and animal interaction for all guests.

Our Sunday availability will only be for the barn rental and no outdoor activities will be provided. So if you are looking for a location to host a simple party, baby shower, family reunion, etc then this would be ideal. Our party barn has plenty of space and we provide a full working kitchen, bathroom, tables/chairs, and heat/air conditioned building.

We also rent out our building on Friday nights and weeknights as well if you are looking for a location for an event.

We have birthday party availability for Saturday January 11th from 10-1 and 3-6 available, and Saturday January 25th from 10-1 available.

We are excited to have you party with us on the farm. We booked quickly in 2024 so please go ahead and get your date on the calendar if you are interested in a party in 2025!

There is nothing quite as sweet as watching the birth and first breath of life take place. I went down to the barn tonight to check on all the animals after dark and I heard a mama goat hollering. I went to her and realized she was in labor and the baby was obviously stuck. I ran back to the house to grab a towel and get Paitley to come hold a light for me. It took a few minutes of pulling the baby and lots of praying to Jesus but the mama goat and I got this big boy delivered. He required lots of work to get him breathing and his lungs clear but look at this sweet precious boy! We are so tickled and proud of our Mama goat Abbie! 🐐💙

God is good!!!

If you are thinking about having your party at Moo Moo’s Farm in 2025 now is the time to book. Please don’t wait until a month or two before your birthday to get on our calendar. We were blessed to stay booked the entire year in 2024.

We do have some availability in January so please message us if you are interested.

Weather permitting we are hoping to host a public farm tour some time over Christmas break if possible. Day/time will be forthcoming.

Now that Thanksgiving is over and folks are decorating for Christmas please feel free to drop off pumpkins at the farm for the animals. We have picnic tables down behind our silver barn. You are welcome to place the pumpkins on the picnic tables and we will make sure they get fed to the animals. Thank you!

Okay yall…..our concert fundraiser is this Saturday night! The weather is supposed to be beautiful. My brother’s band Spare Change will be playing from 7-10 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. All monies raised will go towards supporting and providing relief to our neighbors in Western NC. Bring a lawn chair and we have food vendors covered. Our alpacas love a water hose bath during the summer. When they see us filling up the water troughs they run straight to us as fast as they can! 💦

My son sent me this video of the 9 baby goats running and frolicking today….incredibly cute!!! ☀️SUMMER ANNOUNCEMENTS☀️ We will be having our first farm camp for kids on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from 9-12:00. More info and registration coming this week! The camp will be for kids ages 5 and up. This will be a wonderful opportunity for kids to learn about animals, farm life, as well as have fun! Cost will be $85 each and we are partnering with Blooming OT Tools who will be supplying fine motor farm themed sensory boxes for kids to make and take home during the camp. The fine motor sensory box is included in the camp price. We are so excited to plan this camp and have kids here on the farm!!! For those who have asked about our hours. I work for the school system so next week will be my last week and then I’ll be on summer break! I will offer a public farm tour once during the week while I am out for the summer. We would love to have you guys bring your kids and families out to the farm this summer!!! Most all public farm tour times during the week will be in the mornings before it gets too hot. Each week will be a different day depending on my schedule. I have 4 kids that I look forward to spending my summer with and helping take care of my parents. Please follow our page as I will post dates for each week that I will be open for the public! I’m also looking at the calendar to figure out a date for the special needs population which is near and dear to my heart. Last year we had a free special needs day and it was a huge success. We are looking forward to giving back to the community again this year. This event will be a day during the week as we have found that group homes and places of that nature are better staffed during the week and are able to bring their clients out on field trips. A date for this event will be coming soon! We look forward to celebrating the summer with you here on the farm 🐷🐐🐴🐓🐖🐔🦃
