Such an amazing day yesterday seeing Chris and Regan get married. They are such wonderful people who come from and are surrounded by thought, kind, and loving individuals. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my day.

I waited 6 years to see the Firefall and finally this year I was fortunate enough to see if not once but TWICE! This image if from our second day where we opted to hike up Four Mile Trail instead of opting for the view from the valley floor like the day before. We only had to hike up the trail about 3/4 of a mile before clearing the tree-line and finding our vantage point. From there we did a bit of bushwhacking up for a better composition and met some other photographers. We shared stories and laughs for a couple hours while we waited for the sun to set. This is the result of that time and effort. Blessed to have witnessed this phenomenon in person and have the images to look back on. I hope you enjoy my work.

Can we talk about this cake for a moment! Those succulents…those super realistic succulents are actually frosting. They were so well done. So much skill shown in crafting them. I’ve seen a cake or two in my day, but this one stopped me in my tracks and commanded me to look closer. A high shoutout to for such tasty artistry.

Details from yesterday. I’ve always understood the importance of wedding details and how they connect not just the wedding day but the journey of the couple themselves. B&G definitely show through when I look at these details. They were thoughtfully chosen and selected just as B & G chose each other to spend their lives with. Details and small, but they are mighty, important, and precious.
