I waited 6 years to see the Firefall and finally this year I was fortunate enough to see if not once but TWICE! This image if from our second day where we opted to hike up Four Mile Trail instead of opting for the view from the valley floor like the day before. We only had to hike up the trail about 3/4 of a mile before clearing the tree-line and finding our vantage point. From there we did a bit of bushwhacking up for a better composition and met some other photographers. We shared stories and laughs for a couple hours while we waited for the sun to set. This is the result of that time and effort. Blessed to have witnessed this phenomenon in person and have the images to look back on. I hope you enjoy my work.

It’s been a minute since I posted a ring image. Here is one from a recent wedding. A small mirror, the bride’s bouquet, and some good light was all it took to get this. Still continues to be one of my favorite details from a wedding day.
