🍀Greetings everyone! Tickets are now available for purchase for our St. Patrick's Day Dinner Auction, being held Saturday, 3/16/2024. Parish hall doors open at 5:30 p.m.🍀

🍀Tickets are $30 a piece or $240 per table. Please contact Shirley Perea (719) 469-1352 for tickets.
-The meal this year will be slow smoked beef brisket, baked potato, french green beans, mixed green salad, and cheesecake for dessert.-🍀

🍀There will be a silent auction, followed by dinner and then the live auction.🍀

🍀As always, we are in need of volunteers not only for the day of the event but also help on the committee leading up to the event. If you are interested or can help, please contact the church (719) 384-4342, and they will put you in contact with the committee chair, Debbie Smith.🍀

We are still accepting new or handcrafted items for both the silent and live auctions, which can be donated through the church. The St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Auction was a huge success last night. Thanks to over 125 donors we had over 350 items for auction. The 256 people in attendance responded with generous bids! We will be getting totals soon but Thank You to all of those who helped us in any way.

Preparations are being made for the 23rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Auction scheduled for March 12, 2022 at the Parish Hall. We didn’t have one last year, but the 2020 Dinner Auction cleared about $28,000 for the parish.

The committee is now soliciting items from businesses and individuals for the auction. Items need to be new to be included in the auction.

We can always use high quality craft-type items and we know there is an abundance of talent in this Parish. If you make quilts, paint, do leatherwork, woodwork, or have other artistic talent, please consider donating an item to the auction. These items are very popular auction items, so your donation will greatly help the Parish. We need the donated items by Tuesday, March 1st.

If you have family members who no longer live in La Junta, please consider asking them to get donations of items or certificates from their communities…we would welcome the outside support.

And remember…cash donations are always welcome!

The St. Patrick's Day Dinner Auction Committee of Our Lady of Guadalupe/St Patrick's Parish will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, January 18 at 5:30 PM in the Parish Hall at 2nd and Lincoln. Anyone is welcome to attend. Meetings generally do not last longer than 30 minutes to an hour. Hope to see you there.
