These two inspire us so much!!! Jordan and I have been to many weddings, watched multiple first dances and seen it all. However, no wedding has been like this one and it’s one I will never forget.
Although we love when couples want to go above and beyond for their wedding (obviously because that’s what we get paid to do) I’ll be the first to admit, it’s not necessary. A lot of couples feel the pressure of putting on a “social media show” as I like to call it and they lose sight of what the wedding is all about. They’re nervous, uptight, stressed, maxed out on their budget and don’t even enjoy the day because they’re worried about what their pictures and videos will look like for their social media rather than being present in the moment. Watching this first dance and seeing a couple be their TRUE selves in front of their friends and family made my heart SO happy. You can see how in love they are and it’s absolutely beautiful. This wasn’t a dance “for show” it was a dance filled with laughter, and an abundance of love.
An early afternoon ceremony, beach house in Galveston, catered meal to the house, dances and cake, then bar hopping on the strand was THE most fun wedding I have ever attended. I’m here to tell you, Intimate weddings truly are the way to go. If you have the ones you love most then you have all you need.
Mike and Natalie were in our wedding party as well and have been close friends for many many years. They’ve known us through all stages of our lives and relationship. To be a part of their special day holds so much meaning and joy to our hearts. Congratulations Mike and Natalie, we love you two!!!!!!
