While couples naturally prefer sunshine, there is a certain storybook charm in embracing the unexpected and not letting a little rain cloud your big day. Plus, it symbolizes new beginnings and is considered good luck for your union. ☔️💍✨🥰

Rain or shine, we’re here to make your day special. For those 2025/26 brides-to-be who don’t want to brave the chillier fall weather… we are now offering virtual tours of the barn in addition to on-site ones! 📣

“I don’t even know where to begin with how perfect our day was at Bliss in the Barn. Cindy was up and at the venue ready for us bright and early for setup and getting ready. Cindy helped make our day perfect with creating new bouquets, boutonnières, arch decorations and other pieces as needed. She never batted an eye and helped with everything she could. She reappeared for the ceremony dressed beautifully still helping along the way.

It may be growing colder, but for a flower farmer, there’s no such thing as an off-season. Our farm owner Cindy is constantly planting seeds, tending to the fields, and planning her next harvest. She’s actually busy in the barn today crafting beautiful eucalyptus wreaths to sell at the La Plata Farmers Market (located behind the courthouse) this Saturday from 9am to 2pm!

While she does that, we’re here to brighten your day with some color, and let you in on something you might not know…

💐 We can grow specific flowers for YOUR special day, harvested on our beloved Zekiah Ridge Farm & Flowers—home of Bliss in the Barn!

🌱 That’s right—with enough timely notice (at least 120 days) and consideration to local environmental circumstances, you can request that Cindy grow the certain types of flowers that you are dreaming of incorporating in your bridal bouquet and arrangements!
