Have you even see a cake that’s more out of this world?? 💫🌟✨

It is just absolutely stunning to look at and I am obsessed! I mean it is a beautiful work of art, from the invisible tiers, to the floral spiral structure surrounding it, to the crystals hanging from it like a chandelier, to the fact that it matches the decor perfectly!!! 🩷🤩

This is hands down one of the most beautiful cakes I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a looooot of wedding cakes in my time!

Figuring out wedding decor is a process!! And deciding on colors, centerpieces, placements, and flowers can be very overwhelming! 🥵

Our suggestion? Focus on one aspect at a time! You can make pretty much any color scheme work with any centerpiece set up, so there’s no need to stress out.

If you get an idea of a centerpiece, but have no idea what colors you want, try asking your partner what their favorite color is, or your florist what flowers are going to be in season.

On the flip side, if you know exactly what colors you want, but no idea how to decorate with it, start with something basic, like a lantern with a candle, or a vase of flowers, and then build around that. You can always add a table runner, tea lights, wood slabs, or anything else you can come up with!

1. Have a flower bar 🌹🌸🌷💐: Set up an area with a variety of different flowers, so that your guests can put together small flower arrangements! Not only would it be a fun activity, but it’s also a great gift for your guests to take home!

2. Make it themed: If you do not love the classic “bridal shower” aesthetic, you are not alone! So go all out and have a themed party! Have everyone dress up as Star Wars characters, plan a tea party with the Mad Hatter, or be the true Disney Princess 👑 that you know you are!

3. Have a picnic: The typical bridal shower is not for everyone, and that’s okay! As an alternative, you can a much smaller celebration, in a more casual setting. Did you know that Velvet Cake first became popular in the 1800s? It was called “Velvet Cake” because the bakers would grind their flour so that it was extra fine, which gave the cake its smooth and velvety texture. Also, it wasn’t until the 1920s, that the red color was purposefully added, which created the amazing dessert we all love! ❤️🍰

There’s a few different origin stories, but the one I like the most, is that the delicious dessert was created at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City, and a woman from California was so enamored by it, that she wrote the chef for the recipe when she returned home. Well, the chef sent her the recipe alright, along with a bill for $300!!
