🍗🍗🍗WHO SAID CHICKEN DINNER?!?! The Rusk County Fair Board is excited to announce they will be having a chicken dinner on Sunday August 11th. Admission into the fairgrounds is free with the dinner prices being $10 for a quarter of a chicken and $15 for a half of a chicken! Come hungry and support the Rusk County Fair Board!🍗🍗🍗

The wait is finally over! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST BEFORE REGISTERING! Below you will find the link to the Mutton Bustin’ registration form. All children signing up MUST meet the weight limitation. There is a 15 child limit each night, first come first serve. Additionally, the event will start at 5pm both Friday and Saturday. Starting with the preliminary round right away. The best 8 rides each night will then move on to the finals that will take place during the rodeo which starts at 7pm both nights. ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM BEFORE THEIR CHILD RIDES. 1st and 2nd place will be awarded prizes. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the fair office at 715-532-2225.

Our Fairest of the Fair girls have been out and about at local community events! Be sure to be on the look out for them this weekend at the Rusk County Fair Truck & Tractor Pull on Friday as well at Ladysmith's Northland Mardi Gras parade and events! The Fairest girls along with Mardi Gras Royalty will be in both the Mardi Gras Venetian Night Parade and the Street Parade!!

CALLING ALL LOCAL MUTTON' BUSTIN RIDERS!
Registration will open on Monday, July 22nd @ 8am for all sheep riders! We only take 15 each night and will be first come first serve! All riders must be under 70 pounds! Please see below poster for schedule of event and more info!

We are very excited about the Truck & Tractor Pull this FRIDAY, July 19 @ 7:00 pm at the fairgrounds! Admission is $10 (10 and under free). There will be lots of food and beverages. See you there!!

ENTRY TAGS ARE READY!! Pick up your tags in the Extension office through Friday, 07/26. Starting Monday 07/29, the fair office will be located at the North end of the Senior Center at the fairgrounds through the duration of the fair! Sunday August 4th 1-5pm
Monday August 5th 4-8pm
Tuesday August 6th 4-8pm

TODAYS SPOTLIGHT EVENT IS THE 2024 PEEWEE RODEO!! Kids of all ages are welcome to come and meet rodeo contestants and participate in pony hop races! The preliminary round of mutton bustin will also be during this event. YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MUTTON BUSTIN. We will be putting out registration very soon!
