I made 3 trips to Terrebone Parish since the passing of Hurricane Ida. The devastation is truly heartbreaking. I met numerous people. I’ve listened to countless stories and prayed with those same individuals, but their beautiful spirits is what kept me going back. I wanted to help bless as many as I could, but I could not have done it alone, so thank you, Anna-Vaughn Callahan, Shanee Evans, Samantha AndKenneth January, Dana Comeaux, Alie S. Broussard, Kiesha Sweetreats Johnson, Betrile Taylor-John, and Brittany Gilliam. Thank you Heberts Specialty Meats for your generous donation. They donated a pan of food to make sure we had enough to serve people in Montegut, la.❤️

❤️Special thanks to Brittany Gilliam! She gave up her Saturday and traveled with me to Montegut, la. We fed so many linemen and families. We packed over 100 lunch bags with hot boudin, chips, and treats. My Honda was full of supplies from front to back, but we made it work. I wanted to give up numerous of times, due to feeling as if I didn’t have enough to give. Feeling discouraged because I didn’t have a truck or not enough people to help me, but God made a way, so thank you Britt. I’m forever grateful!

~ Dear Lord, when the troubles of life begin to mount and we can see no way out, help us to trust in you and sing your praises all the more. There are days when we struggle to make sense of the world, Help us to remember that no matter what may come, you are always with us. Amen~

Good morning everyone. Mac&Me Teepees needs the help of our beautiful community to help bless several families during these trying times. God gave us GRACE!! We are BEYOND BLESSED! I have spoken with families that are in need of the following items:
Water
Soap
Bulks of toothbrushes and toothpaste
Towels
Food items (crackers, chips, nuts, fruit cups, juice boxes, kids snacks, etc)
Medications (Tylenol, children’s meds, Ibuprofen, etc)
Diapers, wipes, and rash cream
Deodorant (Any hygiene product)
Batteries (AA, AAA, and D)
Clorox wipes and Lysol
Washing detergent
Fans (battery operated if possible)
Any cash donations would be a blessing as well
