Hello everyone! Hope you are having a great Summer. I have a request for all of you folks that I officiated your wedding. Of the 65 weddings that I have officiated, I have never seen a video. Does anyone have video of a ceremony that I performed? I have all kinds of pictures to share, but wondered if maybe I could share part of a video as well. Hello everyone! In July of 2015, I started officiating weddings. As of New Year's Eve 2023, I have now performed 63 weddings and have done one gravesite funeral. I have had success with word of mouth referrals since I started. I please ask for your help in 2024 and beyond. Yesterday was my first graveside memorial service for a great man, Tom Oswalt. Tom was my lead man when I worked at Fairfield Manufacturing in the late 80's through 1998. I was honored to be asked to do this service. Tom and many coworkers of my parents and grandparents generation, taught me that you take PRIDE in your job. No matter what your job is. Thank you Tom for your service in the Marines and for helping to form me and my young coworkers to do so. You will be missed Tom.

I am very excited to announce that our church, Christ United Methodist at 18th and Veteran's, will be starting the second Lafayette chapter of A Better Life - Brianna's Hope. https://www.ablbh.org

I am on the planning committee as well as there for support. Starting August 29th, we will have our first meeting for those who have struggled with substance abuse as well as family members of substance abusers. It is for those that want to live a better life, as well as a place for emotional support to help during your struggles and your recovery.

You are worth it, you are loved, and you can overcome the demons. Please let us help be the ladder to help you climb to bigger and better things. Addiction is real and overdoses do not discriminate.

We will be in need of some financial support, as well as volunteers to help serve dinner, happy smiling faces to greet guests, and to help clean up after the meetings. If you are interested in helping in any way, please contact me. Thank you for your consideration and prayers!!

Congratulations to Christian and Jessica! It was a scorcher at The Blessing Barn on Saturday. It was a media free ceremony and guests had 30 seconds to take their pictures before we started.
