Goodmorning everyone! I’m sure by now some have heard that we will be closing. This decision was not an easy one and Gods plan doesn’t always align with ours. I struggled with the decision for over a year. Many prayers from sweet friends who didn’t even know what they were praying about and lots of tears and I’m sure more to come .
Tim bought the shop in 1991 . He had planned to have this as his retirement investment once that time arrived. Well as y’all know, he never got that opportunity, once again , the Lord had other plans for his journey. He bought it for our sweet Moma to have something to do until then . She was there faithfully, for him every day for most of these past 35 years ! My sister worked there and raised Harlie, as well as myself and raised Charly. Their papaw spent most days there with them creating many wonderful memories which we hold very dear!
We lost dad in 2016, after a long stay in the hospital , that lead to his passing on Valentines Day- (of all days, our busiest day of the year ! ) Mom worked to stay busy but soon the time come where she wasn’t able to stay there every day .
Soon Tim would begin his battle with diabetes, which took a toll on him but after getting that diagnosis under control he was back to a new normal . Then we learned in just a few years that he had cancer. He had surgery and many complications along the way to overcome that 3 year battle ! Was doing good and feeling better than he had in several years . We then lost him , August 2020 unexpectedly to a heart attack. So with mom’s health in the condition she was in , was working a day or 2 a week here and there and on holidays to help us out . That following Mother’s Day she was working and had a medical episode at work which we later learned she had a stroke . Which in return led to her being diagnosed with dementia/ Alzheimer’s. And I was left to run the shop.
Since we lost Tim and mom hasn’t been able to be there anymore, we feel the Lord has made it clear , again after lots of arguing with him and trying to make it work , that it has come to the time to let it go. Ive struggled with this decision for
Over a year . I recently turned my entire situation over to him and let him have control, and here we are . The Lord has plans in place , and he’s carried us this whole year , in which I’m very thankful.

Never know how much you are appreciated and loved ! And I will definitely miss those times so much!
