That message from Ava after their session made my whole week. It means the world when couples feel totally comfortable and that’s exactly how this evening felt. The light, the laughs, the way they so effortlessly connect… it was dreamy in every way.

By the end, it didn’t feel like work, it felt like hanging out with friends who happened to be head over heels in love.

Sessions like this leave me counting down the days until the wedding. I already know it’s going to be something really special. ✨

Sunrise session with this sweet family!

It’s sessions like these that remind me why God called me to do this. Gods people and Gods creation.

I got to talking to Steph at the end of our session (she’s a homeschool mom too) and she told me about a kids bible study she is doing with her kids and it was another reminder for me that I wanted to incorporate that into our learning this year. Just so thankful God leads me to the right people at exactly the right time.

It’s exciting and overwhelming all at once.
You wonder how you’ll divide your time, your energy, your sleep (what sleep?)—
how you’ll love both deeply and fully, and be what each one needs.

But even in the doubts, God shows up—
with grace for the stretch, strength for the sleepless,
and enough love to go around (and then some).

And one day, you’ll look around and think…

Today we went berry picking and rope swinging under the bridge. The kids were soaked, muddy, and completely free. It felt like summer — the real kind. The kind with bug bites, laughter, and wet and muddy pants.

So this Friday, I’m opening up a handful of Creek Stomp Mini Sessions.

Let your kids splash, chase minnows, climb rocks, and just be. Bare feet. Overalls. Summer dresses. Bring the dog. Bring the chaos. I’ll catch the magic. Families, kids, couples!

I’ve been dying to share this—Natalee and Dathan are having a BABY!

Natalee came to me with the cutest vintage-inspired Pinterest ideas, and we made it happen—baby’s breath, picnic baskets, Polaroids, and the sweetest little ultrasound tucked into it all.

It was definitely hard keeping this one under wraps, but getting to help announce such special news was more than worth it.

So excited for these two and all that’s ahead—baby Tippey is already so loved!
