It’s time for the Second Annual “Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk.” The Event is presented by the Maui Jazz Society and is a scholarship fundraiser celebrating America’s original musical art forms, Jazz and Blues. Endorsed by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation and the Lahaina Action Committee, “The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk” celebrates the be
auty and excitement of Front Street Lahaina and the myriad variety of restaurants, clubs, shops and vendors who make up the unique character of the former capitol of Hawaii. Due to the fantastic turnout at the inaugural Event, we are expanding the “The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk” to include more venues on Front Street, as well as an expanded talent roster. The money raised goes to fund the “The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk” and to promote Jazz and Blues through concerts, documentary films and scholarships. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000.

“The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk” is tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 13 thru Sunday April15,2012. With the proximity of Lahaina to the resort areas of Honokowai and Kaanapali, we will offer the tourist market an Event that will be exciting, interesting and familiar. This will benefit both our visitors and locals alike, while creating marketing opportunities for the vendors and merchants on Front Street.
“The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk” is a unique sponsorship opportunity for your organization, and The Maui Jazz Society would like you to consider being a part of this exceptional Event. We have five levels of sponsorship packages, as detailed in the enclosed sponsorship forms. You can select the level of participation that best meets your needs, and be secure in the knowledge that your sponsorship fee will be used to help The Maui Jazz Society fund “The Front Street Jazz and Blues Walk”. Our marketing efforts will include radio, print and internet advertising. This Event will appeal to both the tourist and local communities.
