✨ Merry Christmas Eve ✨

Tonight, I’m re-sharing a special long-exposure photo of the Christmas star—a beautiful piece crafted by my late father and having been rebuilt by my uncle Peter. Its radiant glow is more than just light; it’s a reflection of love, legacy, and the joy he brought to this season. This star holds a special place in my heart, reminding me that the spirit of those we’ve loved and lost shines brightly in our memories and traditions.

As you gather with loved ones tonight, may the light of this season fill your hearts with warmth, hope, and peace. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas Eve and a season full of meaningful moments. Thank you for supporting my journey and allowing me to share these pieces of my world with you. 🎄❤️

The Delaware Water Gap is a breathtaking natural wonder that showcases the power and beauty of nature. Carved over thousands of years by the Delaware River, this majestic pass through the Kittatinny Mountains has long been a cherished landmark. Rich in history, the gap served as a vital transportation route for Native American tribes and later became a key area for early European settlers. Today, it’s a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and photographers alike. This epic 3-row panorama, captured by drone, reveals the snow-draped mountains in all their winter glory, with the river winding gracefully below—a timeless snapshot of the region’s serene beauty and historical significance.

For my 7th year up to Acadia I wanted to see something new, so I headed north to Winter harbor for a day and explored that side of the park on bike. I got some excellent shots as well while I was there. I thought this image would be a great way to explain the sun and the moon and how their size and distance make them the same size to the observer. I highly recommend you check out Winter Harbor if you're ever in Acadia, I was pretty much the only person in the park while I was there.

Update: I sat and watched the skies at the east mountain overlook for about 3 hours and I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. Feel free to leave pictures of what you’ve seen in the comments, I’m also adding a great YouTube video on the subject.

I've had a few people message me about the strange craft that have been sighted in NJ and elsewhere so I figured I'd share my opinion on the subject with my knowledge and experience with drones.

Though I feel many of the sightings have been legitimate aircraft, I have seen some video clips and reports from airline pilots that are quite alarming. News reports mention the craft operate on a frequency that "can't be detected" and although commercially available drones do exist that can stay in the air for 6+hours, their range is still limited and they still need to abide by the same rules I do, by having the aircraft broadcast a remote ID signal.

It is in my opinion that these craft are of technology the public is not yet privy to and is likely a branch of government kept secret in the interest of national security. I wouldn't speculate as to their intent but I am worried as to where this could lead for the drone industry and my hobby/profession. Whether these events are meant to distract us or for an important reason, it's obviously the opinion of our federal government that it would be in the best interest of the population to have it kept secret at this time.

I'm excited about these events and I hope to witness what I could only presume is an incredible technological advancement in energy and transportation technology. I would be more than happy to discuss more in-depth opinions of the subject through private message or in person.

Since there has been recent sightings in NEPA, I do plan on going out this evening to a local overlook with my DSLR and telephoto lens and hope to get lucky. I did request and receive authorization to fly my drone at this location and If I do, I will be abiding by FAA rules and regulations. though It's unlikely that I will spot anything out of the ordinary this evening, I will be sure to share any images or video I capture. Feel free to leave comments or to reach out to me through messages to report any sightings or to ask if it's me flying.

As we celebrate this season of gratitude, I’m sharing a peaceful winter cascade scene—a reminder of the beauty that comes with the first snow. While the landscape may be serene, the roads can be a bit treacherous. If you’re traveling today, please take it slow, stay safe, and arrive at your destination with care.

I’m incredibly thankful for your support and for allowing me to share my love for capturing nature’s beauty. Wishing you and your loved ones a warm, joyful Thanksgiving and safe travels! 🧡📸

The New Croton Reservoir Spillway, captured in this long exposure shot, is not only a beautiful natural sight but also a historic landmark. Completed in the late 1800s, the New Croton Dam and reservoir were essential in supplying New York City with clean water during a time of rapid urban growth. The spillway, where excess water flows from the reservoir, creates a stunning visual of movement and calm—nature’s contrast of power and tranquility. This aerial view from a drone gives a unique perspective on both the engineering marvel of the dam and the peaceful cascade of water that has served the city for over a century.

Moosic Lakes, photographed yesterday. In my quest to solve Lake Ariels sediment problem, I thought it would make sense to study other lakes in our area to see what they've done differently. Unfortunately it seems like nobody wants to take me seriously, this won't stop me from sharing. Enjoy!

After continuing our search for Ace with 36 Drone this afternoon I thought I'd stop by a friends house near Lake Scranton to see if I could photograph the fire near Montage. After checking to be sure the Airspace was clear and filing a request through the FAA, I was able to get a few pictures of the sunset and the smoke. Unfortunately this was the closest I could get from my vantage point. Enjoy!
