Throughout my years as a magician, I've received countless tips – from $5 to $500. But the most impactful tip I ever received was just a single dollar.

A few months ago, I performed for a group of children at an event focused on gun safety and violence awareness. Although I don't often perform for children, it’s always special when I do. At the end of my show, I reminded the kids of their potential through hard work and doing the right thing. Afterwards I stayed around to share a few more tricks.

A little girl approached me, took off her phone case, and pulled out a single, folded dollar bill she had stashed behind it. She handed it to me and insisted I take it. Knowing she came from an underprivileged background and had probably saved that dollar for a long time, my heart swelled, and I couldn’t stop smiling. She didn't have much, but she gave everything she had.

This moment was a powerful reminder to me of the importance of giving, even when we feel low on energy, time, or maybe even our funds. It's amazing how a single dollar can change a life.
