We were honored to host Megan and Carson's wedding this year!

They shared: "If you are looking for intimate vibes, privacy, and beautiful scenes, then this is the place.

Having it for the whole weekend helped us enjoy it even more because we didn't feel rushed.

It is the perfect experience for guests that are coming from out of town as well. They felt it was easy access and convenient, but makes you feel like you're deep in the woods. They all loved the ceremony area with the aspens. The glamping tents were a big hit, and family staying in the cabins loved them.

The cocktail area and tree swing were fun, the guests liked the open barn doors to have an open feeling for the reception, and we loved the fire in the firepit!

Everyone loved the ranch and heard them say it is 'beautiful, cozy, quaint, and roomy'.

We just truly appreciate everything you have all done for us! The venue process was so easy and enjoyable. "

Meet two of the family members on the team leading the Idlewild weddings!

Stephanie Scoville has owned and developed this Lake George 21-acre ranch for 16 years, and has hosted it as a 5-Star-rated Airbnb for 6 years with rave reviews.

Susannah, her daughter, has been an entrepreneur, business owner, and consultant in Denver for several years.

After both becoming seasoned in the industries of hospitality, real estate, events, marketing, and property management, it seemed a natural move for them to create an intentional wedding venue and experience for couples in love.

They are passionate about sharing the Idlewild experience, where the weekend can be intimate and nature-filled and where the couples can be creative and intentional with their wedding celebrations.

The Idlewild team couldn't do it without the genius of Stephanie's son, Justin, who builds, renovates, and designs anything the team dreams up to make the ranch its fullest potential for our weddings. Stay tuned for updates on his projects underway!

Enjoy the outdoors when you walk outside the cabins of your private estate at Idlewild! The backyard is the Pike National Forest and goes on for miles!!

Also, a short drive will take you to Eleven Mile Canyon, the Platte River, or a day on the town at Woodland Park, Manitou Springs or Colorado Springs.
