Only a few know how hard 2023 was for me and my small business…I seriously contemplated closing Boujee Box down for good after losing hope when two individuals on two different occasions last year threatened my business to the point where I had to spend what little money I had to hire a lawyer…TWICE. I had never experienced that side of business before. I’ve been so lucky to have dealt with friendly small business owners, so when these two fellow small business owners whom I’ve never meet or spoken with before came at me with threats…I almost let them win. I stopped posting on social media for awhile. I stopped promoting my business like I used to. I literally just stopped trying. I let the fear and insecurity get the best of me. After spending months of reflecting and much needed time with family, I felt recharged and ready to take on the holidays. I honestly did not expect to receive the amount of love and support I got from my community when I started sharing again. The goal I had gave myself in January 2023 felt unattainable in July, but by the end of November…I had reached it with a month to spare! 😭 If there is one thing I’d like to share to anyone feeling at the end of their rope…please don’t give up. 🙏🏼 You are doing amazing! You deserve all the good things coming your way. Keep working hard, focus on your goals and do your absolute best to maintain a positive mindset. I promise the hardships you are going through will pass. Thank you 2023 for humbling me and a huge thank you to all my customers who never gave up on me. 🥹❤️

One of the places we visited in Napa Valley was Fatted Calf Charcuterie and just WOW! 🤯 I was able to sample some delicious cuts of charcuterie and ended up getting their finocchiona & red wattle salami! Both were absolutely delicious and I look forward to my next visit when I’m back in town. 🤩
