The lambing business is hard work and long hours. However, life on the farm provides rewards beyond a day at the office.

Spring has sprung! The hard work of last summer’s pasture rehabilitation is paying off. We turned the dirt, installed irrigation, seeded, fertilized and let nature do its thing. Our Katahdin breeding ewes and protection donkey are loving the results!

With an increasing flock size we developed and built lambing stalls to enhance our Katahdin lambing operation. This allows us to control and manage nutrition of ewes and provide a secure environment to bond the lamb to its mother.

Our breeding ewes have returned from ram stud service. March and April will bring 12-15 lambs. For now we will foster the good health of our flock and await their arrival.
