hi! my name is jen and i’m a wedding coordinator and bridal attendant based on long island, ny. i’m so excited to see so many new faces following along on my journey. as a little welcome, i wanted to introduce myself and share some fun things about me + my business 💛

1. i’ve been married to my best friend, the kindest guy in the world, anthony, for 2.5 years and we’ve been together for 15 ❤️‍🔥
2. my favorite city in the world is london 🇬🇧 i’ll be back there in two weeks for new years 🥂
3. i’m obsessed with golden hour photos and the magic that comes with them ☀️
4. when i first started my business i envisioned only being a bridal attendant, but very early on we added on coordination based on client demand and now it’s our most commonly booked service 🤍
5. anthony and i got married at a resort in disney springs and we had a private wedding photoshoot at epcot the next morning before the park opened 💫
6. im one of the biggest swifties you will probably ever meet 🫶
7. my favorite taylor album ever is speak now but nothing beats red in the fall ❤️
8. my birthday is 2 days before christmas, 10 days after taylor’s (same year, 1989) 🎂
9. my favorite holiday is christmas but i love a good cosplay for halloween 😆
10. i studied tv production and had dreams of being a director, just like dawson leery 🎥
11. i am obsessed with tv and am currently binging only murders in the building and just started the new dexter series! not sure if you caught the pattern but yes, i do love murder docs too 😂
12. there is nothing i love more then connecting with people ✨
13. i’m also very interested in content creation (you will probably notice i experiment with this ALL the time) and photography.

5 years ago today i made a decision that would change my life in the best way 💕

i thought to myself “what if i started a business where I could be a bridal attendant anywhere i wanted, for anyone i wanted, and any day i wanted?” to me it sounded like a great idea! 😆

i knew nothing in that moment other then that i loved helping couples on their wedding day and that i was really good at it.

over the years, ever since my mom passed away, i’ve been obsessed with - it is no exaggeration when i say that her show, Long Island Medium, got me through the very early days of losing my mom.

So, as a little nod to her, and my mom, (i won’t lie i also knew the seo would be 🔥) i chose the name The Long Island Bridal Attendant.

I asked a friend I worked with to bring my vision of the logo to life, (ily ), i decided i would be a “personal bridal attendant”, and i created the instagram page and website that would change my life 🥹

over the years I’ve gotten to meet some of the most amazing people, work in some of the most beautiful places, have the absolute BEST clients, and do something my heart loves so, so much, all while working with friends who are family 💖

has it always been easy? no. i’ve laughed, i’ve cried, i’ve had restless nights filled with anxiety, i’ve fallen (more times then i wish to admit), i’ve been scared, i’ve been mad, i’ve been overjoyed, i’ve been excited (+ many more emotions) but every single second has been worth it ✨

i’ve always been someone who dreams big. i blame my mom for that 😂 she always told me i could do anything i set my mind to and i’ve always believed just that.

life has not always been easy - i lost my mom when i was 22 and went out into the world on my own. she was a single mom, we didn’t have much money as i was growing up, and i had no family that lived close. i’m so grateful for my godmother and husbands family have always been there for me. because of this, i savor every person, moment, and memory 📸

thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the last 5 years. i can’t wait to see what the future holds but for today, i’ll be reflecting on the past 💫

celebrating 5 years of one of my biggest achievements, LIBA 🤍 thank you everyone who came out on tuesday and made this night so special for me. i could truly feel the love and i’ll never forget it 🥹🫶

december 10, 2024 will forever go down in my history book as one of those days that i look back on and think “wow,
how did i get so lucky?”

if you told me 6 months ago that i would be celebrating 5 years of owning my own business, a business i love with all my heart, with so many friends and family, that i would buy the jeep of my dreams, and that one of my reels would reach 20 million people, all in the same day, i would have laughed in your face. if you told me all of those things would happen separately i still wouldn’t have believed it. truly, all these dreams were so deep down in the basement of my brain that i never even spoke them to myself in silence, let alone out loud.

but that’s the craziest thing about life. it gives you what you need, when you need it, whether you admit that you want it or not. the universe always has your back 💖💫

my first attempt at family photos with my best friend and her beautiful family 💛

if you’ve been around here a while, you may know that i have always been so interested in photography and it’s one of my many passions! i’ve even taken classes with who has taught me everything i know! 🫶

i’m so proud of how these came out. of course like anything else there are things i would do differently, but you live and you learn! it’s the only way!

i’m so grateful for beautiful memories like these and for my friend for trusting me to capture them 🥰

over the past few years, i’ve had the amazing privilege to get in front of the camera of some of the most talented photographers in our industry 📸

these are people i’ve looked up to for so long and i pinch myself that i’ve not only had the opportunity to work alongside them, but also to be in front of their cameras, AND call them my friends 🥹

i thought it would be really cool to highlight all their beautiful work and different photo styles.

while doing so, something unexpected happened. i realized i’m actually able to see myself from their eyes. the way some of them put me at ease, some of them make me laugh, some of them bring out my playful side… you get the picture 😉

as taylor once said “i’m a mirrorball” and i think this is the perfect visual representation of that statement. each and every person on the other side of these cameras make me feel like a different version of myself. i love all these versions of myself so much and i thank you all for sharing your talent and creativity with me 🫶

they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. i have to say, honestly, i’ve never felt as beautiful as i do when i look back at these photos from your eyes 🥰

Amanda + Joe 🤍

yesterday was such a special day in soooo many ways! our bride amanda was happy as a clam the entire wedding day, even when it unexpectedly started to rain in the middle of her ceremony 🤍

all day long, our groom joe was overcome with emotions that he finally got to marry the love of his life. the first time hit him as he carried their 6 month old massimo to line up for ceremony and then carry him down the aisle to marry his mother 🥹

their loved ones who passed made their presence known and felt the entire day, just one instance being a rainbow appearing for just a few minutes after the rain stopped post-ceremony. the song they choose to honor them during ceremony was somewhere over the rainbow 🌈

we got to work with soooo many amazing vendor friends and friends and family of our couple.

i could truly go on and on about how special these two are, how much they’ve overcome together, how beautiful this day was, and how much i loved being part of it, but instead i’ll just drop a few photos here ❤️

photo number 8 is when the wedding day delusion hit 😂

the last photo is a letter they wrote to me before we even stepped foot in the door. this is why i do what i do. this is why i’m so freaking lucky to do something i love so much. there is nothing better then having this kind of impact on my couples and knowing at the end of the day i helped bring joy into their planning process 🥹❤️

KAITLYN FERRIS APPRECIATION POST 💛 we had the most magical night last night frolicking through the fields and laughing our hearts out!

the golden hour gods were on our side, the sky broke and i finally got my very own peice of kf magic that i’ll cherish forever 💫

it’s always such a joy spending any time with you, kf, but this time was so extra special ✨
