Hello Friends! The weather is in the 70’s today! Who’s looking forward to the warm weather still? :) How is everyone? A few things we would like to address to all of our loyal friends :) A few good friends have told us they heard we are closing. We are not closing. We want to re-assure all of our friends that we are not closing. We are here for you and all of your floral needs. We were open at the beginning of the pandemic up until the end of May. We unfortunately had to close the florist from June to July 15th due to the hardships of the corona virus, as many local businesses in the area had to also, and make that difficult decision as well, to have to close for a brief period of time to re-group. It was heartbreaking to have the florist closed. We missed everyone so much. We weathered through it though with the support, care and concern of all of our loyal customers and friends stopping by, checking in on us, asking us how we were doing and when we will be re-opening. We love you all and thank you! With all of the hardships of the coronavirus and the struggles of trying to re-open, we were finally able to re-open on July 15th!

We have been the House florist for Moloney funeral Homes for 25 years. When we re-opened in July, we called the Moloney funeral home and spoke to the manager to let him know we were re-opened, and he said, “Great, I will let everyone know”. A couple of weeks went by and we hadn't received any orders from the Moloney funeral home. We spoke to the manager again and he said, “Oh, your floral books have been pulled, we are no longer using your florist, because you were closed.” We had to close due to hardships from the corona virus, and we are finally able to come back and re-open, to find out that the Moloney funeral home is no longer using our florist or offering our floral selection book for you and your family to choose sympathy flowers from. After a 25 year business relationship, and friendship, and us being the owner’s family florist, us doing the special wedding flowers for the Moloney families, you can no longer have your sympathy flowers made by us if you order your flowers through the Moloney funeral home, or on their website. Our florist has only been used twice on two occasions by the Moloney funeral home, since the end of May 2020. If you or your family thought that we made any of your flower arrangements since that time, we are so sorry you were informed they were made by our florist.

The only way you will be able to have your sympathy flowers made by us, receive a discount and get your full money’s worth, is by calling our florist directly. Maybe this period is making you feelwildly ambitious. Maybe you feel alive with productivity. Maybe you feel fatigued from being emotionally overwhelmed. Maybe you only have the energy to figure out what tv show you’re going to binge next. Maybe you feel exhausted from caring for your children. Maybe you feel full of gratitude for this time you get to spend with your children. Maybe all you could do today was not cry. Maybe all you could do today was have a good cry. Maybe your daily walks have reminded you that it’s spring time and the earth is showing you that there is beauty amidst this trying time. Maybe you feel lonely because you’re spending more time alone than ever before. Maybe you’re feeling lonely in a house full of people. Maybe you found a moment of bliss sitting in bed in your bathroom watching a movie with a glass of wine (me currently 🍷) Maybe you felt a spell of of anxiety today (me earlier) Maybe you caught your breath and were able to remind yourself that this too shall pass (me again). Maybe you feel scared. Maybe you feel confident that things will be okay. Maybe you feel none of these things or all of these things at different points throughout the day. Either way. I just want to remind you that during these times it’s important to put as little pressure on yourself as possible. There are enough pressure in this climate, both socially and economically, don’t add to this period by thinking that there is some correct way to move through it emotionally. However you feel is just the way you feel. It is all okay. And on that note. Don’t be afraid to reach out to others to talk about how you feel. Post about it to your community, call a friend, a hotline, a family member, a mentor or teacher. We are so much better at helping each other when we know how we are all honestly feeling. And if you want to share how you are feeling with me, I promise I will read every comment on this post. Here for you. I love you.
