We gobbled up the fun today at Bellaboo's Turkey Fun Fest!

Kids kicked off the day by making a sweet turkey treat in children's cooking. Then, everyone got to meet Tom, a real turkey from Buckley Homestead County Park. Finally, we wrapped up the day by reading some Turkey Tales at story time.

During children's cooking, we asked the little ones what they were most grateful for this Thanksgiving. Some of the best answers included hot wheels, chicken wings, and grandma! We agree, we are thankful for those things too! We are also grateful for our partners in early education, Humane Indiana, for stopping by with Jasper the owl and for all of our visitors today and everyday who make Bellaboo's the special place it is.

Bellaboo’s will be closed tomorrow for the holiday, but will reopen Friday from 10am-3pm and the weekend 10am to 4pm (Saturday & Sunday).

We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving- see you on Friday!

Honoring our favorite guy on Bat Appreciation Day! Bellaboo is out mascot and he is an Indiana Bat. Thats why he has a pink nose. Here are some facts about the Indiana Bat 1. Super Rare Friends: Indiana bats are like the rare superheroes of the bat world! They're so special that they're considered endangered, which means there aren't many left. That's why it's super important to help protect them! 2. Winter Sleepover: Imagine having a big sleepover with all your friends! Well, that's kinda what Indiana bats do in the winter. They snuggle up together in caves and old mines to take a long nap called hibernation. It's like a cozy bat slumber party! 3.
