This one is for Jeannie.

We lost a great friend last week- Jeannie from & . It’s all still so surreal- and the loss our community feels runs deep. She was hilarious, spunky and honest. Her ingenuity walked hand-in-hand with her grit—making her a dynamic force in the hospitality industry, but also a magnet to many great accomplishments. She was an inspiration to me, and also a lifeline of real talk as we both navigated new companies and the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. I loved her candor, and also admired how it was always accompanied by the appreciation she had for her team and Ryan (her husband).

It was an absolute privilege to have her trust in Bloom, as I got a front row seat watching Peach House’s vision unfold. As a fellow toddler mama, wife and serial entrepreneur, I will miss Jeannie deeply and the understanding on life we shared. My heart aches for Ryan and Pepper (her daughter), along with her staff.

We would love your help contributing to the Pepper Project, a gofundme started in support of her daughter, Pepper. We’ve got buckets of peonies this week and would love you to come shop (we’ll be open tomorrow!) and we’ll be donating all of the proceeds to the Pepper Project.

Creating flowers today for her celebration of life was equal parts impossibly hard and also the most genuine expression of appreciation I could offer.

We are currently monitoring the track of Hurricane Milton and we will be closed tomorrow and Wednesday.
