What does it mean to be a Mom? So many things come to mind.
• loving your child unconditionally
• taking care of their needs
• getting Less sleep
• giving up your quiet/alone time
• teaching them to do and know so much

There are SO many more things I could add to this list. But also this…
When you’re a Mom there are very few pictures of you enjoying time with your little ones.

Let’s start something...and you can do this! Use the timer on your phone today to take a picture of you and your kids doing something…anything. Even if you don’t LOVE the photo its ok. 5 years from now you will cherish it

Being outside used to make me cranky. There was too much to do and I had to spend all my hours at a job that I didn’t like. And, Honestly It’s not my favorite thing to do still, but I can now say that when I go outside with the kids I can sit and enjoy the trees, the snow, and my children. It does help that it’s not below zero for sure!

Sometimes being a mom is filled with tired “how little sleep get and stay sane” moments...frustrated moments...and are they listening to me moments...
But the moments your children show love and curiosity (and listen to you 👏👏) make you realize a how truly amazing being a mom really is. ❤️

I don’t do senior photography often, but when I do I LOVE it 💙
There’s just something awesome about the time we graduate high school and move into the next phase in our life and being able to document that time in photographs.

My sister had her baby...and it is another boy 💙They have 4 kids, 2 girls, and 2 boys. Pretty amazing I’d say.
This is Elliot. He’s soooo cute 😍. He’s also got plenty of what I call “new-baby-squeeeshy.” I couldn’t resist snapping a couple of pics while I visited. He was 1 day old ❤️

Seeing a mother and her baby look at each other will always be one of those breathtaking things for me. There’s just something so special about the love that is there!
