The Soper-Reese is a project of the Lake County Arts Council. The Mission of the theatre is to provide a professional venue for the performing arts and community events in Lake County, California. To achieve this Mission, the Goals of the theatre are:
To enhance the cultural enjoyment of all members of the community
To promote tourism and the economic vitality of Lakeport and all of Lake County by

attracting diverse artistic and cultural events from around the state and nation
To provide more opportunities for Lake County students to experience and appreciate the performing arts
To preserve a local and beloved landmark

“Never before in Lake County history have so many talented musicians met on the same night under the same roof for the same purpose.”
This Epic event is to raise funds for Lake County musicians, entertainers, and academic programs that are underfunded due to grant cuts or individual financial hardships.
Back Stage Foundation will strive through donations to support individuals and programs that keep artists and entertainers on track to achieve their dreams, enable them to continue their education or maintain the ability to perform and obtain the tools they need to continue to advance their skills. Thus, allowing them to entertain the people of Lake County.
