This was shot with Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I bought her lightly used for I think like $1,200? Now, it retails for $500 used.

When I took this photo, I’d already switched to my mirrorless and readjusting to using this was like such a woah moment for me - it functioned so differently.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because this was a water shoot, I wanted to be safe and use my old camera. But it was sort of fun to go back to a time where you reeeeeally had to know what you were doing, take your time to check your work, and slow it down.

After over 150 weddings, you really learn what matters on a wedding day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So many photographers focus on the “must-have” photos, that you can really lose focus on what matters. The day will pass you by in such a blur, that you need someone who can help ground you. Someone who can help the moments last a little longer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That is why I prioritize Experience over everything else. You should be in control of what you want the day to feel like - nobody else.
